Abstract. This study aims to look at the effect of authentic leadership variables and perceptions of organizational support on staff engagement work in hospitality organizations by using self-efficacy as a moderator. This is because an increase in the number of tourists, both domestic and foreign, has encouraged competition for the quality of services in Yogyakarta, including hotels as accommodation. This study looks at the influence of organizations and the ability of individuals to increase work engagement on staff of hospitality organizations. Specifically, the variables measured to see organizational influence are authentic leadership and perceived organizational support. The variable used to see the ability of individuals who influence work engagement is self-efficacy. The results of this study indicate a significant correlation of each variable on work engagement. However, self-efficacy is less able to act as an effective moderator and more a strong predictor for work engagement variables. In addition, the results of the study also showed that perceived organizational support, authentic leadership and self-efficacy were able to influence work engagement by 28.8% together. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh variabel kepemimpinan otentik dan persepsi dukungan organisasi pada work engagement staf di organisasi perhotelan dengan menggunakan efikasi diri sebagai moderatornya. Hal ini dikarenakan peningkatan jumlah wisatawan baik domestik maupun mancanegara telah mendorong persaingan akan kualitas jasa pelayanan di Yogyakarta termasuk di dalamnya adalah hotel sebagai akomodasi. Penelitian ini melihat pengaruh dari organisasi dan kemampuan individu untuk meningkatkan work engagement pada staf organisasi perhotelan. Secara khusus, variabel yang diukur untuk melihat pengaruh organisasi adalah kepemimpinan otentik dan persepsi dukungan organisasi. Variabel yang digunakan untuk melihat kemampuan individu yang berpengaruh pada work engagement adalah efikasi diri. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang signifikan dari masing-masing variabel terhadap work engagement. Namun demikian, efikasi diri kurang dapat berperan sebagai moderator yang efektif dan lebih menjadi prediktor yang kuat untuk variabel work engagement. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dukungan organisasi, kepemimpinan otentik dan efikasi diri mampu mempengaruhi work engagement sebesar 28,8% secara bersama-sama.
This research aims to compare the effectivity of therapy for dyslexia syndrome. Recent research shows that Android-app based therapy is more effective to increase reading ability in children with dyslexia than other, named verbal therapy. Quasy experimental with randomized control group pre and posttest design is used. 20 children with dyslexia are included as research participant and divided into two groups, control-group and experiment-group. Reading ability test is used as measurement tool. Data analyzed with Mann-Whitney U test. Data analysis result shows that android-app based therapy is more effective to elevate reading ability in children with dyslexia.
Implementation of relocation of street vendors (PKL) has now become the spotlight of public attention. Frequent clashes in various cities in Indonesia between government officials are generally represented by the Pramong Satuan Polisi Praja (Satpol PP) with street vendors. However, this did not happen in Solo, Central Java during the reign of Governor Joko Widodo in 2006. This study aims to find an answer to how Joko Widodo's leadership style (also known as Jokowi) as Mayor of Surakarta to approach the street vendors In Monument '45 Banjarsari Surakarta so they can move without risk or resistance effectively. To understand the concept of leadership style used in the relocation process done by Jokowi in Solo, the researcher conducted a qualitative analysis to develop typology and found five main interpretations of his leadership style from the point of view of street vendors. Leadership style is: populist, sembodo (consistent), nguwongke (appreciate), ngemong (care) and visionary. The results show that street vendors with a background in Solo need a psychological and cultural approach to conduct relocation without resistance. Sering terjadi bentrokan di berbagai kota di Indonesia antara pejabat pemerintah yang umumnya diwakili oleh Pramong Satuan Polisi Praja (Satpol PP) dengan PKL. Meskipun demikian, hal ini tidak terjadi di Solo, Jawa Tengah pada masa pemerintahan Gubernur Joko Widodo pada tahun 2006. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan jawaban bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan Joko Widodo (juga dikenal sebagai Jokowi) sebagai Wali Kota Surakarta untuk melakukan pendekatan-pendekatan pada PKL di Monumen '45 Banjarsari Surakarta sehingga mereka dapat pindah tanpa resiko atau perlawanan secara efektif. Untuk memahami konsep gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan dalam proses relokasi yang telah dilakukan oleh Jokowi di Solo, peneliti melakukan analisis kualitatif untuk mengembangkan tipologi dan menemukan lima interpretasi utama tentang gaya kepemimpinannya dari sudut pandang PKL. Gaya kepemimpinan tersebut adalah: merakyat, sembodo (konsisten), nguwongke (menghargai), ngemong (peduli) dan visioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PKL dengan latar belakang di Solo membutuhkan pendekatan psikologis dan budaya untuk mengadakan relokasi tanpa resistensi.

This study aims to get understanding on how the anxiety coping strategies of psychiatric nurses in handling patients who still feel anxious in the Intensive Service Unit (UPI). The method used in this study is a qualitative research by taking data based on the condition of natural objects. The study is conducted on psychiatric nurses in the Intensive Service Unit at Prof. Dr. Soerojo psychiatric Hospital in Magelang. The respondents of this study are taken from stratified purposive sampling that the writers take 2 female psychiatric nurses from female UPI and 3 male psychiatric nurses from Male UPI. Data are collected by observation and interview. The results show that the coping strategies that emerged from each subject differr one another, not all aspects of the coping strategy were used by the respondents. This means that by varying the coping strategies emerging from each respondent can be used as a reference as a study learned by individuals with the same conditions experienced by the respondents.
