Interfaith marriages have long been a debated issue of marriage law in Indonesia. Since the marriage law was issued, there has been no clear legal stance governing interfaith marriage, particularly when involve Muslim/ah bride or groom. While the fact is, interfaith marriage is an unstoppable reality in the plural society. Not being recognized for its legitimacy according to Indonesian regulation makes the interfaith couples think to utilize out of the box solution that is conducting marriage overseas. The problem is whether interfaith marriages abroad can be considered legal in Indonesia and how is the registration process in Indonesia after their arrival. This study aims to explain the process of registering interfaith marriages carried out outside Indonesia after the couples return to Indonesia. The data was collected through the study of primary legal materials of Indonesian marriage laws and lower regulations. Data were also collected through interviews. This article argues that interfaith marriages are not well regulated in Indonesia. Therefore their validity cannot be justified. Interfaith marriages conducted abroad can be registered at the civil registry office. The civil registry office does not question the validity of the marriage.
The objective of this study was to link and match the needs for an academic and professional career for medical students. The rationale is what English skills and communicative needs are learned at university should meet their needs in accomplishing their study and in pursuing their professional career. It is strongly believed that this link and match makes learning English take place. To achieve the aim of this study, descriptive analysis was used to analyze questionnaire responses. The questionnaires were distributed to 156 medical students of Baiturrahmah university who enrolled at Bahasa Inggris 6 course and had already passed Bahasa Inggris 1 to 5 courses. The finding indicated that 94,8% of medical students viewed that English was undoubtedly required for both academic and professional careers with listening and speaking skills as a priority. For medical needs, students viewed listening (82,27%) and speaking (82,21%). For professional needs, they believed listening 95.99% and speaking (85.25%) were the priority. Interestingly, for academic needs, medical students needed communicative skills and strategies for reading English journal articles to finish their studies. For a professional career, participating in international seminars was in demand. By the study, it is strongly assumed that accommodating this link and match will make studying English more meaningful and beneficial.Keywords: English Language, Needs, Link, and Match.
The purpose of this article is to: (1) presenting the latest breakthrough learning through fairy tales and dance for early childhood; and (2) instill nationalist character values in early childhood through meaningful activities. Love the homeland, love peace, care for the environment, care for the social and responsibility is part of the characteristic values of nationalism which are beginning to erode along with the development of the global era of the market and technological advances that raise the demands of practicality and the rise of international curriculumbased schools in children when this. Through an attractive playing activity strategy, fairy tales and dance become solutions that can be offered to instill nationalism character values in early childhood.
Kebisingan dapat diartikan sebagai suara yang tidak diinginkan atau suara keras yang tidak menyenangkan atau tidak terduga. Kebisingan bersumber dari kegiatan manusia seperti penggunaan alat transportasi dan aktifitas industri. Dampak dari kebisingan ini bukan hanya pada kota-kota besar. Pengukuran tingkat kebisingan diatur dalam KEP-48/MENLH/11/1996 tentang Baku Tingkat Kebisingan. Ada dua cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengukur tingkat kebisingan, yaitu: cara sederhana dan cara langsung. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sound level meter, seperangkat alat hitung dan stopwatch. Penentuan tingkat kebisingan lingkungan menggunakan sound level meter dilakukan di 2 (dua) lokasi yang merupakan daerah komersial di Kota Bandung, yaitu Jalan Cihampelas (Ciwalk) dan Jalan Sukajadi (PVJ). Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh tingkat kebisingan paling tinggi terjadi di PVJ pada saat akhir pekan yaitu sebesar 69,8 dBA. Tingkat kebisingan terendah terjadi di Ciwalk pada saat hari kerja, yaitu sebesar 68,4 dBA. Nilai ini tidak melebihi baku kebisingan berdasarkan KEPMENLH No. 48 Tahun 1996 untuk daerah perdagangan dan jasa yaitu sebesar 70 dBA.
