Divorce is the legal dissolution of a marriage relationship by a court and almost half of divorce happen in the first 10 years of marriage, it mean that children from divorced families are still at an early age. This means that daily interaction and communication between children with one of the parents will be reduced that can decreasing the attachment of the child to the parent and child trust affect against theirself. In addition, the child will be exposed to the fickle conditions, psychic tendencies negative emotions and aggressive behavior will appear on children as a victims of divorce. The purpose of this research is to describe effectiveness of early childhood inclusive education textbook for students of inclusive education classes in Unimed. The development of this textbook is a type of research and development (R&D) with the Four-D (4-D) model. This model consists of 4 stages of development, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The sample for this research was students of inclusive education classes in teacher education of early childhood education FIP Unimed, uses purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was an effectiveness sheet filled in by students of inclusive education classes. Data analysis technique is a descriptive analysis in the form of a percentage, while the development of textbook is done through content analysis. Based on the results of student trial, the developed textbook is categorized as very effective with a value of 76.
The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the characteristics of bullying behavior in early childhood and to describe the efforts of teachers in dealing with the problem of bullying in early childhood, so that a mapping of bullying problems in kindergartens in the city of Medan was produced. This research is an initial research in the context of developing a model for preventing and handling the problem of bullying in early childhood at kindergartens in Medan City. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative approach. Research subjects were taken based on purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were observation sheets on bullying behavior that occurred in kindergartens and interview sheets on teachers' efforts to deal with bullying problems. The steps used to analyze the research data consist of data collection, data reduction, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that bullying behavior in early childhood is dominated by physical bullying such as hitting and pushing. Meanwhile, the teacher's effort in dealing with bullying behavior is to immediately reprimand and provide an explanation to children about moral behavior, namely behavior that is permissible and not permissible.
Very young children recently have engaged with media devices such as TV set, computer and mobile devices. Playing with all devices is the most attractive activity than interacting with their environment. They look like a quickly learners regarding devices use than their parents and the media devices used by young children is rapidly increases year by year. Many researchers agree that media devices children use have an impact both positive and negative on development and learning. Beside the all benefit of devices for children, parents must also pay attention with the negative impact possibility in devices children use. Therefore, parents play very important role in their children. Parents should be able to encourage their children of avoiding an inappropriate media device use in order to reduce negative impact that can affect their growth and development. The aim of this article is to review some literature about negative impact of young children media device use, suggest preliminary guidance for parents and recommend the future research need.
