Problem solving skills are one of the skills needed by students in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, so it becomes a challenge for a teacher to design creative learning. One of the media that supports students' problem solving skills is to use worksheets. Meanwhile, the worksheets used so far are general in nature. Suitable worksheets are developed that support students in solving problems, namely problem solving-based worksheets. This study aims to analyze the need for problem solving-based student worksheets. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. This needs analysis is part of the research and development of the 4D model, specifically the Define stage. The subjects in this study were students of class XII in SMA Negeri 3 Cirebon City and chemistry teachers as informants. The results showed that students needed worksheets that were more attractive and easy to understand. The worksheets available are in accordance with KD, KI and the 2013 curriculum, but not yet according to student needs. Based on data obtained from several analyzes including analysis of student perceptions, teacher perceptions, student characteristics, curriculum, assignments, concepts and analysis of learning objectives. So it is necessary to develop problem solving worksheets, especially in the matter of ionic equilibrium and pH of salt solutions which can train students to solve problems and relate theory to facts in everyday life.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the education sector must adapt to new habits. Student assessments also adapt to the learning process that is carried out online. This is a challenge for the school and especially for educators and students. This study used 200 grade 7 student's from 8 State Junior High Schools in a city in West Java Province as samples. The school is assumed to have used authentic assessment because it has used the 2013 Curriculum. The research method used a descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique was done using a closed questionnaire and interviews. The questionnaire consisted of 15 statements regarding the learning process and assessment during online learning. The questionnaire was given to students online with the permission of the school and supervised by the teacher and parents or guardians of the student. The results showed: 1. The teacher continued to socialize the authentic assessment process well; 2. The teacher continues to flexibly carry out authentic assessments; 3. The teacher continues to master the material on authentic assessment. Attitude assessment based on online presence and student responses to the assignment given. Meanwhile, the psychomotor assessment of students is carried out if there is a task with a demonstration that is recorded on video and sent to the teacher. For peer-to-peer assessments, it is difficult to do because students cannot meet in person.
Study Purpose. Somatotype is a parameter used to determine criteria based on body type. However, not many have done somatotype measurements in selecting prospective athletes. This study aims to analyze the somatotype of athletes in the Tarung Derajat martial arts sport Material and Methods. This research uses descriptive research methods with survey research types and quantitative approaches, namely an anthropometric measurement test to identify the type of human body. Anthropometric measurement test is carried out by measuring bone width, body circumference, body fat thickness, weight and height. Perposive sampling technique was used in determining the sample. In this study, there were 30 Tarung Derajat martial arts athletes consisting of 15 categories of motion art and 15 categories of fighting that were sampled. Results. The results of the study show that the central body type in athletes in the arts of motion with a percentage of 13% and 40% in combat athletes. Furthermore, the endomorph body type is 13% for motion art athletes and combat athletes with a percentage of 7%. For the endomorph-mesomorph body type as much as movement arts with a percentage of 67% and combat athletes by 47%, while for the Mesomorph, Mesomorph-Ectomorph body type there are no athletes and athletes in the arts of motion and fighting have an ectomorph endomorph body type with a percentage of 7%. The results of the study prove that in athletes in the movement arts category and fighters there are similarities in the body type they have which tend to have endomorph-mesomorph. Conclusions. The conclusion is that the dominant body type in Tarung Derajat athletes shows an endomorph-mesomorph tendency with a percentage value of 67% in the movement arts category and 47% in the fighter category. The data of this study provide the characteristics of fighting somatotypes, which can be used to establish references for systematic research in sports health sciences. The results of this study are expected to influence coaching for training concentration, with more emphasis on somatotype.
The importance of 21st century skills that must be possessed by students include Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), various efforts have been made so that Indonesia is no longer ranked at the bottom when taking the Program test.Internationale for Student Assessment (PISA) includes the 2013 curriculum. In the 2013 curriculum, students are invited to be more active, able to think critically, be able to solve problems well and explore HOTS abilities. The ability to analyze, create and create is a component of HOTS. In learning activities, one of the media that can make students active and support students' HOTS skills is to use worksheets. The objectives of this research are as follows; 1) Knowing the analysis of students' HOTS descriptions before and after learning using problem solving-based chemistry worksheets, 2) Finding the effect of using problem solving-based chemistry worksheets on students' HOTS. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The location of the research was in SMA Negeri 3 with 2 MIPA class XII research subjects (classes) each as control and experimental classes. The collection technique includes documentation method and HOTS test. The data analysis technique uses validity, reliability, level of difficulty and discrimination against HOTS questions and hypothesis testing after testing the prerequisites. Hypothesis testing using a parametric statistical test, namely the Independent Sampel t-test. The results of the analysis of the hypothesis test show the value of sig. (2-tailed) of 0.047, meaning that the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.047 < 0.05 can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect in the application of problem solving worksheets to HOTS in SMA Negeri 3 Cirebon students.
