This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, and evaluation processes in improving the quality of education in the Inclusive Elementary School in Bantul Regency. Data collection techniques are through interviews, observation, and study documentation. Subjects were principals, vice-principals, teachers, and the committee chairperson in Elementary Inclusion in the Regional District Bantul. The results showed that: (1) program planning was based on the school’s vision, mission, and goals. Each school component compiles work programs by revising last year and verified by the school principal. The substance leads to efforts to improve the quality of education. However, it does not cover detailed results targets, (2) the implementation of the program is managed by each school component, by preparing written implementation instructions such as 2013 curriculum document, organizational structure, division of teacher and education staff assignments, regulations academic, and school rules, (3) program evaluation is more focused on academic programs than on the effectiveness and efficiency of learning and teacher performance, carrying out the Self- Inclusion Elementary School Evaluation in the District of Bantul and school accreditation. The evaluation results of the program's implementation made a report consisting of technical and financial reports to local governments.
Pembelajaran tematik adalah pembelajaran dalam bentuk tema dengan beberapa mata pelajaran yang disajikan dalam satu wadah terpadu baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) pada kelas rendah dengan pembelajaran yang terpisah memunculkan dampak tingginya angka mengulang kelas dan putus sekolah, maka pembelajaran tematik sangat penting diterapkan di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) untuk mengaplikasikan dunia nyata di sekitar kehidupan siswa. Dalam pembelajaran tematik ini siswa Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) dapat memahami konsep-konsep yang mereka pelajari melalui pengalaman langsung dan menghubungkannya dengan konsep lain yang berkaitan sehinggatujuan pembelajaran tematik bagi Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) dapat tercapai.Kata kunci: pembelajaran tematik, anak berkebutuhan khusus, sekolah luar biasa
Masa lanjut usia merupakan masa dimana seseorang mengalami berbagai kemunduran fungsi, baik fisiologis, psikologis, maupun sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah deskripsi mengenai kesejahteraan psikologis lansia serta memperoleh data empiris mengenai Psychological Well-Being kaum lansia jamaah taman lansia An-Naba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi penelitian studi kasus intrinsik dan model penelitian deskriptif pada tiga subyek lanjut usia. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWBS) dari Ryff (1989). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ketiga subyek lansia dengan berbagai hambatan dan perkembangan yang harus dipenuhinya dapat mengatasi hal-hal tersebut apabila memenuhi dimensi-dimensi dari Psychological Well-Beingnya. Ketiga subyek mampu memenuhi dimensi-dimensi yang terkait dengan Psychological Well-Being tersebut. Setiap subyek mampu menerima kondisinya sebagai lansia, mampu menghayati keberfungsian hidupnya dalam menerima kelemahandan kesulitan yang dihadapi sebagai lansia serta dapat mencapai tujuan hidup dengan mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki. Dimensi autonomi menjadi dimensi yang dominan, sedangkan self acceptance menjadi dimensi yang kurang dominan pada Psychological Well-Being.Kata Kunci: psychological well-being, lansia, taman lansia
Implementation of Character Education Based on Social Wisdom of Local Culture For Elementary School Students; aims to know the Implementation of Character Education Based on Local Social Wisdom and Culture for Elementary School Students in Special Region of Yogyakarta, The subjects of this study were students and teachers in 25 elementary schools in Yogyakarta Special Region. The first study was conducted from May to October 2017. The data collection method used interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is an integrated model between quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the first year of research are: (1) identify the problems of grade and grade moral education in elementary school of research area; (2) a number of 8 (eight) students of IPS PPs UPY Program involved in this research can complete the draft thesis as evidenced by the approval by the supervising commission; (3) prototype design or some examples of equipment / media development model of character education, (4) composed of module of teaching materials of character education; (5) written draft textbook on character education; (6) draft of intellectual property design of noble art costume costume with batik clothing pattern of pecang typical of Kulon Progo.
This study is aimed to examine the family’s socioeconomic status which drives the symptoms of gangsterism among Indian Moral Education students from the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory National Secondary Schools. This study was conducted via survey design using the Parent and Peer Attachment Inventory (IPPA) questionnaire. Using purposive sampling technique a total of 234 students were selected as respondents. The data collected were analysed using SPSS version 23.0, and descriptive and inference methodology was presented to the results. The results of one-way ANOVA revealed significant relationships and strong correlations between components such as residential social environment, family income, level of parental education, family institution, self and peers influence. High mean scores suggest these six components contribute to the involvement of gangster symptoms. The finding indicates that a major relationship exists between the family’s socioeconomic status as a driving factor in the symptoms of gangsterism among Indian Moral Education students from the National Secondary Schools. These results also have consequences for students, teachers, parents, community leaders, ministries of education, and NGOs in general. Nevertheless, a more extensive study should be carried out in all the states of Malaysia to examine the degree of "threat" to social, economic and political stability of these symptoms.
