Supply chain management covers integrated activities of planning, coordinating, and controlling of all business processes and practices in the supply chain to meet the demands of consumers at the lowest possible cost. Sustainable supply chain can be achieved by taking into account three pillars of sustainable development, namely, economy, social, and environment. Passion fruit agro-industry supply chain actors consist of farmers, collectors, agro-industries, and retailers. This study aims at identifying factors affecting the passion fruit agro-industry supply chain performance for sustainable micro, small, and medium enterprises and designing a supply chain performance measurement model of MSME passion fruit agro-industry with system dynamics. This research used a survey method through observations, in-depth interviews, and expert opinions. Data were processed using a combination of the hard system (system dynamics analysis) and soft system (expert opinions). The feedback structure along the passion fruit syrup agro-industry system was modeled in a causal loop diagram using system dynamics through version 10 of Powersim Studio software. It was then translated into a stock-flow diagram as the implementation of the simulation model. The model was verified using a computerized statistical analysis (Absolute Means Error) technique. To formulate recommendations and development strategy scenarios for sustainable MSME passion fruit agro-industry supply chain, a system approach method was used and expected to produce an effective and operational decision in accordance with the objectives previously set. The results obtained through expert opinions and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) which have the highest weight with various conditions for each variable. Seven key variables were proven to influence the performance of passion fruit agro-industry supply chain, which were also used to design a sustainable MSME supply chain development scenario. The behavior of the sustainable passion fruit agro-industry supply chain model took the form of positive growth and the error rate of 7.43. Developing a sustainable MSMEPFASCPM can be carried out with a moderate strategy by developing: 1) pattern of good relationships among the actors, 2) gradual increase in the availability of raw materials, 3) environmental support capability, 4) gradual increase of profits, 5) moderate skills, 6) employment opportunities, and 7) land availability.
In the era of globalization requires companies to start revolutionizing supply chain performance measurement system for their businesses. Supply chain management is one of the important issues that are a concern for companies that want to continue to increase consumer satisfaction, increase payment utility, and save expenses. For this reason, a supply chain performance measurement system is needed. The purpose of this paper is to build a supply chain performance measurement framework using the supply chain operation reference (SCOR) model as a tool for supply chain performance measurement. One of the causes of various failure of improvement programs in the supply chain is the inability to obtain an overview of the current condition of the company, including its cultural aspects. The use of the SCOR model in building the concept of supply chain performance measurement makes companies able to evaluate supply chain performance holistically in monitoring and knowing where an organization is relative to competitors. This paper focuses on the application of the SCOR model for supply chain performance measurement in manufacturing companies. Some tools are described in this paper as a proposal to build a performance measurement framework in optimizing value in the supply chain.
This paper outlines the principles of community breeding programs, reviews similar programs that have been conducted in Indonesia, as well as proposing improvements. Community breeding programs (CBP) are a method for genetic improvement of livestock, with voluntary participation of farmers, using animals belonging to the farmers, by defining breeding objectives and selection criteria or traits, selecting the best males of the group, performance testing and distributing males to the farmers. Farmers have the ownership of the program and contribute to the sustainability of the program, marketability of the products according the needs of the farmers, as well as strengthening farmers institutions. There are breeding scehemes of one tier, two tier and three tier that can be implemented to achieve the goals of genetic improvement. Several CBP has been carried out scatteredly, however improvements have to be made such as by long term financial support, strong commitment from breeders, mentoring by academias, data management and analysis as well as economic assessment. Therefore, a more masive and sustainable CBP should be conducted to improve the genetic quality of sheep and goat in Indonesia.
PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk (PT Telkom) as the National Flag Carrier of telecommunications in Indonesia which has a Full Network Service Provider license serving almost all digital services for all licensed operators in Indonesia. One of the operators served by PT Telkom is Telkomsel. Telkomsel is the largest operator in Indonesia. In providing its best services to Telkomsel, Telkom Indonesia has a number of SoW (Scope of Work) that is used to share services provided to operators who are customers of licensed operator products, namely modernization: sites built using optical fiber but previously were on air using Telkom radios and rollout: sites built using fiber optics in areas where there is no service at all. In Sumatra, Telkom Regional I is tasked with serving Telkomsel in 3 areas, namely Telkomsel in the Sumbagut area (North Sumatra), Sumbagteng (Central Sumatra) and Sumbagsel (South Sumatra). In 2018 the construction of Telkomsel's BTS site has reached 9,566 Site ID Node-b which has reached 75% of the inner city of Sumatra. This type of research is a descriptive study by evaluating the factors that become obstacles in achieving Telkom Serviced Licensed Operator product targets in Telkom Regional I Sumatra and formulating strategies that can be done in increasing the achievement of the Serviced Licensed Operator product targets in Telkom Regional I Sumatra. To obtain strategies, various analyzes are carried out such as internal environmental analysis such as management, marketing, finance, production and operations, human resources, and external environmental factors such as the macro and industrial environment. In analyzing these factors, IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) and EFE (External Factor Evaluation) score measurements, IE (Internal External) analysis and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Thread) analysis are used
