The electronic contribution to the heat capacity of V& 9703, V70~3, and Vp, 86W0,~402 is very large, with&= (130+3), (80+5), and (80+5) xl0+ cal K 2/mole V, respectively. Comparison of effective masses calculated from the heat capacity, magnetic susceptibility, and optical properties suggests that the mass enhancement results mainly from spin fluctuations in a strongly correlated electron gas. The magnetic contribution to the entropy of V407 at 53 K is 0. 32 cal K~/mole V.Many temperature-induced
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
