Background and purpose: The implementation of Hospital Information System (HIS) is important to achieve strategic objectives based on quality services. For this reason, an evaluation is needed to find out how the benefits of HIS in the hospital work unit. This study uses the evaluation framework of Human, Organization, Technology (HOT) Fit which was introduced by Yusof in 2008. Methods: This research method was carried out using a mixed method approach where the quantitative approach was processed by using Partial Least Square. The sample was obtained through proportionate stratified random sampling, namely 201 respondents who were employees of HIS users in MHJS hospital. The research instrument used a questionnaire and was measured using a Likert scale Results: Based on the results of the t-statistic test, there is a misfit which appears in the insignificant direct effect between service quality on user satisfaction (p-value 0.062), service quality on system use (p-value 0.063), organizational structure for system use (p-value 0.492) and user satisfaction with system usefulness (p-value 0.188). Conclusions: It is necessary to improve the service quality because does not significantly influence user satisfaction and system use. System quality provides a dominant influence on user satisfaction, the use of systems and organizational structures so that management plays a very important role in the implementation of HIS in MHJS hospital.
The high level of turnover intention at Permata Keluarga Lippo Cikarang Hospital in the last 3 years has made the hospital management need to deal with it immediately. This research intended to find out and analyze those influence which came from work stress and work environment over turnover intention through organization commitment as a mediate variable. This research was designed by quantitative research with an explanatory to causality. Population and sample were all nurses on outpatient polyclinic at Permata Keluarga Hospital Lippo Cikarang which total numbered of 110 people. Data analysis method that used in this research was multiple linear regression analysis through path analysis to examine those influence between the research variables. The results and findings from this research was indicated that: 1) There had negative and significant influence from work stress to organization commitment; 2) There had positive and significant impact between work environment to organization commitment; 3) There had positive and significant impact from work stress over turnover intention; 4) There had negative and significant affects between work environment against turnover intention; 5) There had negative and significant influence over turnover intention from work commitment ; and 6) Organizational commitment could mediated those impact from work stress to turnover intention, but it failed to mediated those impact from work environment towaeds turnover intention
The electronic medical record (EMR) known today is not a new system in the documentation of patient medical records. Electronic Medical Record is a system that contains the patient's health and disease history, diagnostic test results, other medical data, and treatment cost information. In Indonesia it is known as Rekam Medis Elektronik (RME). In accordance with the vision of Dinda Tangerang Hospital to be a quality hospital and trusted by all levels of society, it is appropriate to use technology in its medical record services. Where currently the medical record unit of Dinda Tangerang Hospital still uses Paper Based Medical Record. So, a readiness analysis is required to switch to EMR. This research uses quantitative research method with correlational research design that aims to know the readiness of Dinda Tangerang Hospital in applying EMR. The departments studied are the medical department, the medical support department, and the medical records unit. The most powerful relationship between a variable with an R value is 0.632. The value is in the criteria of correlation coefficient value of 0.51–0.75 which means there is a strong relationship between the organization and monitoring and collaboration. while the readiness analysis of Dinda Tangerang Hospital to apply electronic medical records is in range IV and can be said to be ready.
Telemedicine is an innovation in providing health services to patients, perceptions of technology vary from one individual to another. The level of technology acceptance is something that needs to be researched because it will affect the use of a technology in the company, this is because the received technology will continue to be used in the company and the rejected technology will be a neglected part. There are the important considered criteria for the acceptance of a technology of this research: the adoption of innovation, organizational measurement, business environment, and communication channels. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of technology acceptance, organizational size, business environment on the adoption of telemedicine with the influence of the communication channel. The research method is an explanatory research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 156 people. The used data analysis method in this research is a Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results from the MRA analysis show that technology acceptance is positively and significantly influenced by communication channels on the adoption of telemedicine. In contrast, the measurement of the organization and the business environment did not have a significant effect on the adoption of telemedicine in the health service industry. The implication of hospital management to increase technology acceptance must pay attention to the advantages of using telemedicine, the suitability of existing technology in hospitals to develop telemedicine, the ease of used technology, the results that seen from the use of telemedicine and it can be tested before being applied. Communication needs to be improved by paying attention to the credibility of the communicator, the content and context of telemedicine, the clarity and continuity of information, the used language is easy to understand and the right communication channel is interpersonal.
