Therefore, there is a relationship between hypertension and gout arthritis with chi square results p = 0.007.
Background: Comprehensive care during the puerperium is needed because this period is a critical period for both mother and baby. The prevalence of anemia in postpartum mothers according to WHO, amounted to 41.8% while in Indonesia the incidence of anemia was relatively high at 63.5%. The incidence of anemia in postpartum mothers will not have an impact on the nutritional status of the breastfed babies, and can be a factor in stunting cases. Preliminary studies in Ledug Village, Banyumas Regency, January-April 2018 period showed that in addition to the incidence of 3 infant deaths and low birth weight infants, a high incidence of postnatal maternal anemia was still found, reaching 60%. The aim: purpose of this study was to study and understand holistic care midwifery care for postpartum mothers with anemia. Method: This qualitative research used a descriptive observational method with a case study approach. The case study subjects were 1 anemic puerperal woman in ledug village, Banyumas regency, Central Java. The data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document study. Data analysis was performed descriptively based on 7 steps of Varney and SOAP. The results showed that postpartum mothers with anemia who had a history of anemia during pregnancy (HB 10.2 grams / dL) gave birth to babies with low birth weight, and although mothers breastfeed their babies exclusively for 2 weeks but the baby's weight gain was only 300 grams and height is the same as at birth, which means less than normal. After getting postnatal nutrition counselling and regular postpartum visits by the midwife, on the 4th postpartum visit it is known that maternal HB increases to 11.7 grams / dl or the mother no longer suffers from anemia as the baby's weight rises according to her age which is up to 800 grams / month. Conclusion: So that proper comprehensive obstetric care for postpartum mothers with anemia was able to improve their condition which had an impact on improving the weight gain of the breastfed babies.
Background: As we know that breastfeeding saves children under five lives every year, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. The facts show that only 43% of infants 0-6 months are exclusively breastfed. The limited time for breast milk expression in between the mother's work routine needs to be supported by an efficient and effective pump. This study aimed to assess the type of breast pump not affect to pain scale, milk production, and pumping time in breastfeeding mothers. Methods: This research is a cross-sectional study with a sample of 36 breastfeeding mothers in Banyumas Regency. They were chosen by distributing survey invitations through the WhatsApp group with a background breastfeeding mothers. Data was collected using the Google form, and analyzed using the Chi Square statistical test with a significance level of 95% (Alpha 0.05). Results: Chi-Square analysis test shows the Asymp value. Sig. (2-sided) for the relationship between the type of Breast Pump and the Pain Scale, the volume of breast milk expressed, and the duration of pumping are 0.001; 0.905; 0.620, so only pain scale which less than α >0,05, the others are more than α >0,05. This result means any correlation between the type of breast pump with pain scale but no correlation with the amount of milk expressed, and the time spent pumping. Conclusion: There is no relationship between the type of breast pump, the amount of milk expressed, and the time spent pumping, but any correlation between pain scale. So breastfeeding mothers can choose any breast pump that fits their needs and consider other factors influencing breastfeeding success.
