" (Dirkem, 1981, str.
The basic purpose of this research was to determine that, in addition to its demonstrated benefits, the coaching concept is being accepted by a significant number of organizations in Serbia. The possibility of applying the coaching concept, in the given framework, has been investigated by surveying a sample of 133 respondents. The obtained results about management style in Serbian organizations are unexpected, they surpass the subject matter and scope of this research and suggest that significant changes are hapenning in that field that need to be further explored. Research limitations are limited sample and insufficient knowledge of the concept of coaching in Serbia. This article is to explore the possibility of applying the concept of coaching in Serbia. Left to the strict market laws, organizations in Serbia go through inevitable transformation phases in attempting to increase their overall efficiency and performances. Most business enterprises and state institutions are (at least declaratively) willing to embrace changes, but unwilling to accept "Western" models, approaches and methods due to the specific cultural and social conditions and inherited past. This is the first study on this topic in Serbia, which identifies important factors for successful implementation of the concept of coaching and limitations in it.
Corruption is the biggest obstacle to equality of market opportunities and it is generated by great power of the state administration, lack of transparency, lack of control authority mechanisms and uncontrolled power of individuals within the state authorities. Such conditions for corruption are created by the authoritarian systems, including various forms of individual, military or ideological tyranny. This is a significant economic, political and ethical issue. In order to be better understood and effectively eradicated, it is necessary to understand how different cultures accept corruption and the relationship between corruption and specific dimensions of culture. In this paper attention is focused on the relationship of specific aspects of culture and corruption, relying on existing experimental studies. The purpose of this paper is to check the belief expressed in the literature on the example of the Western Balkans that high power distance culture is the key cultural element which creates the conditions for the emergence and acceptance of corruption in a society. The dimensions of culture identified by Geerd Hofstede are used in the analysis and power distance is identified as the most important dimension for generating corruption in society. Using comparative analysis of power distance index and corruption index possible connections between them can be identified. This leads us to the conclusion that power distance as one of the key cultural dimensions influence the level of corruption in society. As basic research limitations the following have been identified: the complexity of the phenomenon of culture of which power distance is only one element, and the fact that corruption is a complex social phenomenon, on which, apart from culture, other important factors have influence. This implies that in the activities intended for eradiction of corruption it is practically necessary to thake into account the need to change culture, which is a slow and difficulty process, but not impossible one.
False news and rumors have grown frequent in today's world. The dissemination of such information has only been helped and hastened by the media and modern information and communication technology, with far-reaching repercussions. Traditional media is losing its audience's confidence, and more and more people are getting their news from their peers through social media. Not only has social media altered the way news is distributed, but it has also called into question long-held views about what news should look like. One thing is certain: this situation cannot be sustained; a new paradigm must be developed to restore trust in the media and the information they provide.
Product labeling has been carried out since the market existed, and the two main functions from the very beginning were to show the origin of the product and guarantee quality. A trademark or symbol serves to protect manufacturers and consumers from possible false substitutions, as a sign of differentiation from the same or similar products, and is a guarantee of quality. Technologies undoubtedly bring us numerous improvements. However, numerous studies show that digital piracy and the damage it does to the economies of many countries is very great. It is estimated that almost a million victims are reported worldwide each year, or 12 victims per second, a figure that speaks to the seriousness of the problem and the need for perpetrators to be prosecuted. The abuses are massive, and the instruments are the Internet, global social and computer networks, piracy, counterfeiting brands, misuse of bank payment cards, and many others. There are many ways to fight high-tech crime and brand piracy, and top experts in the field of IT and computers, special teams and legislation are engaged in that fight.
