AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecemasan akan kegagalan dan dukungan orangtua dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa di pesantren. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas XII di pesantren MA NU Banat Kudus dan 48 siswa di pesantren MA Muhammadiyah Kudus. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi populasi. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah skala motivasi belajar, skala kecemasan akan kegagalan dan skala dukungan orangtua. Analisis data dengan menggunakan Analisis Regresi (Anareg) Dua Prediktor. Hasil koefisien korelasi dari ketiga variabel sebesar 0,761 dengan taraf signifikan p sebesar 0,000 (p<0,01). Hal ini berarti ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara kecemasan akan kegagalan dan dukungan orangtua dengan motivasi belajar siswa yang berada di pondok pesantren MA NU Banat Kudus dan MA Muhammadiyah Kudus. Artinya semakin tinggi kecemasan akan kegagalan dan dukungan orangtua, maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar. Semakin rendah kecemasan akan kegagalan dan dukungan orangtua, maka semakin rendah motivasi belajar. Sumbangan efektif kecemasan akan kegagalan dengan motivasi belajar sebesar 0,2%, sedangkan besarnya sumbangan efektif dukungan orangtua dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa yang berada di pondok pesantren MA NU Banat Kudus dan MA Muhammadiyah Kudus adalah 57,7%. FEAR OF FAILURE, PARENT'S SUPPORT, AND STUDY MOTIVATION AMONG STUDENTS IN PESANTREN AbstractThis study was conducted in order to verify relationship among fear of failure, parent's support and study motivation in pesantren's students. Subjects of research were 32 students from grade XII Pesantren MA NU Banat Kudus and 48 students in Pesantren MA Muhammadiyah Kudus. This was a population study, employing study motivation scale, fear of failure scale, and parent's support scale as measurement tools. Data of research were analysed using two predictor regression analysis (anareg), resulted in coefficient correlation number of the three variables = 0,761 whereas the significance level was = 0,000 (p<0, 01). This means there is very significant positive correlation among fear of failure, parent's support and study motivation among students in the two pesantrens. The more fear of failure and parent's support, the more study motivation would be, otherwise the less fear of failure and parent's support, the less study motivation would be. Effective contribution of fear of failure to study motivation was 0, 2%, while effective contribution of parent's support to study motivation was 57, 7%.
