Maybe some parents still think that children's education is a normal thing and naturally children will become smart. Some still believe that according to the age of the child will develop with the help of teachers at school without having to work hard at home. This is happening right now for parents who don't understand the importance of the role of parents in children's education. In this study a parenting collaboration model was developed using development research. In this research, the effectiveness and practicality of the model are very real where the presence and enthusiasm of parents is very high to participate in parenting activities. Principals and teachers have very positive responses to the parenting program. It is recommended that teachers always make and implement parenting programs with parents from the beginning of planning to evaluating programs.Keywords: Parenting Cooperation, Social Development, Emotion Development, Early Childhood
Women's participation in this case is housewives in supporting the family economy and children's education is currently very much needed. This is due to the increasing demands and needs of life today. In addition, if observed today, there has been a decline in the moral behavior of children and adolescents today, requiring serious handling by the family. The same thing was felt by the people of Lubuk Jantan, Lintau Buo Subdistrict, this problem was allegedly caused by the low understanding and skills of mothers about the character education and productive economic stability they had. This community service activity aims to enable housewives to (1) have skills in making cheap, lively, quality (3M) snacks based on local ingredients. (2) For young mothers to have motivation in enterpreneurship. (3) For young mothers to have the ability to market the results of their businesses. (4) For housewives to be able to shape their children's character towards a better direction. The target of this service is housewives in the Lubuk Jantan region, totaling 20 people. The results obtained from this service are, as a whole, the housewives who have been programmed already have some skills in making cheap, lively, quality snacks from local ingredients such as: from sea fish, from cassava, from white rice and glutinous rice, from flour and various kinds of pudding. In general, mothers who take part in the training have been able to instill the value of character values for children, because along with skills training, they are also given knowledge about planting character values in the family.Key Words: Training to Make Snacks, Housewives
Over time, advances in science and technology are increasingly high but problems are increasing, and challenges are increasing. Likewise, formal, non-formal and informal education always has a weak point on every line. This condition requires educators and educational institutions to think even harder so as not to run over with the progress of the times. Collaboration between institutions and the education environment is absolutely necessary so that there will be no regrets later and children's education can be developed optimally. One way that can be done in early childhood education is to create a mature cooperation program and this program must be well designed. PENDAHULUANSetiap kegiatan yang akan dilakukan seyogyanya harus dirancang terlebih dahulu sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya dapat berjalan dengan baik. Bila sebuah program dirancang dengan baik maka dapat diharapkan akan hasil yang baik pula. Rancangan program ini juga terdapat dalam program yang akan dilaksanakan di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini.Dalam pendidikan anak usia dini ada program yang harus melibatkan orang tua atau berkolaborasi dengan orang tua. Kolaborasi yang dilakukan harus lebih baik karena anak usia dini sebagian besar kehidupannya berada dalam keluarga. Orang tua memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab yang besar terhadap pendidikan anaknya dan orang tua tidak boleh lengah karena usia dini adalah usia emas (golden ages). Oleh karena itu, harus ada suatu program yang dapat mewadahi agar orang tua dapat melaksanakan tugasnya dengan baik bersama-sama dengan guru di sekolah. Program ini harus dibuat oleh lembaga pendidikan sehingga orang tua dapat lebih meningkatkan perannya dalam mendidik anak. Program ini dikenal juga dengan nama parenting.Kondisi yang dilihat di lapangan belum banyak PAUD mempunyai kegiatan parenting yang sistematis. Bahkan jalinan kerjasama antara orang tua dan sekolah (lembaga PAUD) sangat kurang. Orang tua tidak banyak tahu tentang apa yang harus dilakukan pada anaknya sehingga potensi anak tidak berkembang dengan baik. The person who is most responsible for the success of children is their parents. Because children born and raised by parents are the property of parents and cannot be contested. To carry out these heavy obligations, parents must have adequate knowledge and skills in order to achieve what they aspire to be, namely making children pious who are intelligent and of good character. The reality today is that there are still many parents who do not know that their role is very large in educating children so that they do not think and do not even make the maximum effort in educating children. Most parents submit their children's education to other people who are trusted, such as teachers at school, in the course and tutoring, and teachers at the Koran, so they do not pay attention to learning at home. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keberhasilan kegiatan randai di Sanggar Seni Mustika Minang Duo Kota Pariaman, terlihat dari banyaknya prestasi yang diraih warga belajar setiap tahun pada kegiatan randai. Penulis menduga disebabkan oleh minat warga belajar yang tinggi mengikuti kegiatan randai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan gambaran minat warga belajar mengikuti kegiatan randai ditinjau dari aspek perhatian, perasaan senang, dan ketertarikan warga belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah warga belajar yang mengikuti kegiatan randai sebanyak 35 orang, sampel diambil sebanyak 72% yaitu 25 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpul data adalah angket dengan alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat warga belajar mengikuti kegiatan randai pada aspek perhatian warga belajar sudah sangat baik, perasaan senang warga belajar sangat baik, dan ketertarikan warga belajar sangat baik.
