The training of future doctors should be continuous and organized at a high level, because medicine is one of the priority spheres of society. With the introduction of quarantine in the context of a pandemic, the question of changing the format of classes has become especially acute, which is associated with the need to exclude massive concentrations of medical students. In our academy, in the first days of quarantine, communication was organized by groups in the Viber and Telegram messengers. In the following days, training was carried out on the use of the Zоm service platform for video conferencing, online meetings and distance learning, and trainings were organized. The department’s website contained the contact information of all teachers, the schedule of classes, the thematic plan of lectures and practical classes, a list of basic and additional literature for students of each course. In the materials for downloading, students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with multimedia presentations of lectures, teaching aids developed by the staff of the department, methodological recommendations on all topics of practical exercises according to the thematic plan. It should be noted that new educational technologies contribute to the improvement of information competence, allow students to independently master the educational material, but training a doctor in practical skills requires the student’s traditional face-to-face contact with teachers and patients.
The antiseptic properties of endodontic materials are used for microbial control in root canals. Decrease in microfloria is known as one of key demands for root canal therapy. The aim of this work is to study the sensitivity of reference strains of microorganisms to citrate buffer and its combination with the antibiotic «Amoxiclav». We used the museum strains of E. coli ATCC 25922, S. aureus ATCC 25923, S. epidermidis ATCC 14990, E. faecalis ATCC 29212, M. lysodeicus ATCC 4698 and C. albicans ATCC10231 to solve this task. The disk-diffusion method for assessing the sensitivity of standard strains of microorganisms was used. We used chlorhexidine digluconate 0.05% as a control. Citrate buffer has high antibacterial activity. The combination of citrate buffer with antibiotic increases the sensitivity of all reference strains. E. coli ATCC 25922 demonstrates a moderate sensitivity to citrate buffer. This combination with an antibiotic increases the antibacterial effect in 2.3 times (p < 0.05). The sensitivity of enterococci increases towards the direction of chlorhexidine – citrate buffer – citrate buffer + «Amoxiclav». When comparing the results obtained using citrate buffer, its combination with antibiotic and chlorhexidine as a control, we should stress on the lower activity of chlorhexidine to strains of transient and normal oral microflora, which are E. coli ATCC 25922 and M. lysodeisticus ATCC 4698. On the contrary, we have revealed more pronounced action of experimental compositions against strains of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, staphylococci, enterococci and yeast-like fungi that points out the advantage of citrate buffer and its combination with antibiotic «Amoxiclav» in terms of their use in the treatment of complicated caries.
Мета роботи-вивчення ефективності застосування препарату NBF Gingival Gel у лікуванні пацієнтів із хронічним катаральним гінгівітом. Матеріали та методи. Стан гігієни порожнини рота вивчали за показниками індексів Федорова-Володкіної та Green-Vermillion. Якісне оцінювання запалення ясен здійснювали за допомогою проби Шиллера-Писарєва, кількісну-за показниками індексу папілярно-маргінально-альвеолярного індексу (РМА) в модифікації Рarma та індексу кровоточивості ясенної борозни за Мюллеманом. Стан кісткової тканини альвеолярних відростків вивчали за допомогою ортопантомографії. Протимікробну активність NBF Gingival Gel щодо музейних штамів мікроoрганізмів вивчали методом дифузії в агарі відповідно до наказу № 167 від 05.04.2007 р. Дослідження антимікробної активності препарату щодо змішаної мікрофлори ясенних кишень пацієнтів із хронічним катаральним гінгівітом вивчали, порівнюючи з гелем Метрогіл Дента та Генгігелем. Результати. Аналіз чутливості мікрофлори до дії стоматологічних гелів показав низьку антимікробну активність NBF Gingival Gel порівняно з традиційними препаратами. NBF Gingival Gel виявляє властивості пребіотика, який сприяє росту нормальної мікрофлори порожнини рота, але має антимікробну дію щодо опортуністичних мікроорганізмів. Висновки. Застосування аплікацій NBF Gingival Gel підвищує ефективність лікування хронічного катарального гінгівіту внаслідок його протизапальної, заспокійливої та захисної дії на слизову оболонку порожнини рота. Результати мікробіологічних досліджень виявили доцільність одночасного застосування протимікробних препаратів для антисептичних полоскань, зрошень, ротових ванночок.
The modern conditions of reforming the educational system of Ukraine, the problem of professional training of doctors has become urgent. The development and use of new, innovative technologies in education and self-education aimed at the formation of clinical skills is always an urgent task. The purpose of the publication is to analyze and highlight the content of innovative educational technologies for teaching and teaching in higher education, in particular in the clinical department, in the process of preparing future dentists. Educational cooperation at the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry is an extensive network of interactions in the following four areas. 1) teacher - student (during the survey, preparation for the defense of the medical history) 2) student - student in pairs (dyads) and in triples (triads) during the supervision of patients; 3) group-wide - the interaction of students in the entire academic team, for example, during clinical examinations, clinical conferences; 4) a teacher - a team (during educational work in classroom and extracurricular time). The use of interactive, cooperative, collective-group learning contributes not only to better memorization of the material, but also to its identification and use in everyday life. Interactive teaching methods in small groups contribute to the development of such personal qualities as sociability, cooperation. Communication and interaction skills are formed in the team, talents and abilities are revealed quickly and efficiently to solve tasks.
