Nutritional status with WFA provides an description of acute nutritional problems, due to fluctuating changes in body weight. Breastfeeding is not until two years is a factor causing weight not to rise, so weaning toddlers very well even at 2 years. Mothers with poor parenting such as breastfeeding, complementary feeding and health services also affect the condition of the nutritional status of children under five acutely. The aim of study was to determine the impact of parenting and weaning age on the nutritional status of toddler. The research was cross-sectional study design, with 65 toddlers in Muara Batu District, North Aceh Regency. Samples are taken randomly. Parenting and weaning data were collected through interviews, while nutritional status data used a WFA z-score index. Analysis using Chi-square test. The results show the relationship between parenting (p= 0,021; OR= 3,6) and weaning age (p= 0,042; OR= 3,5) with the nutritional status of toddlers. In conclusion, poor parenting and the fast age of weaning have an impact on the high number of cases of malnutrition in children under five in Muara Batu District, North Aceh. Suggestions, it is necessary to support health promotion such as counseling related to parenting and weaning, and it is hoped that positive follow-up by relevant stakeholders in improving the nutritional status of toddlers.Status gizi BB/U memberikan gambaran masalah gizi akut, karena perubahan berat badan yang fluktuatif. Pemberian ASI tidak sampai dua tahun merupakan faktor penyebab berat badan tidak naik, sehingga menyapih balita sangat baik genap pada 2 tahun. Ibu dengan pola asuh tidak baik seperti pemberian ASI, MP-ASI dan pelayanan kesehatan berdampak juga terhadap kondisi status gizi balita secara akut. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dampak pola asuh dan usia penyapihan terhadap status gizi balita. Penelitian berdesain Cross-sectional study, pada balita sebanyak 65 balita di Kecamatan Muara Batu, Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Sampel diambil secara acak. Data pola asuh dan penyapihan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, sedangkan data status gizi menggunakan z-score indeks BB/U. Analisis menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil menunjukkan hubungan antara pola asuh (p= 0,021; OR= 3,6) dan usia penyapihan (p= 0,042; OR= 3,5) dengan status gizi balita. Kesimpulan, pola asuh yang kurang baik serta cepatnya usia penyapihan berdampak terhadap tingginya kasus gizi kurang pada balita di Kecamatan Muara Batu, Aceh Utara. Saran, perlu dukungan promosi kesehatan seperti penyuluhan terkait pola asuh pada balita dan penyapihan, serta diharapkan tindak lanjut positif oleh stakeholder terkait dalam meningkatkan status gizi balita.
Food that given to the breastfeeding mother should contain sufficient calories (energy) to replace the energy released as well as the energy needed to produce breast milk. Various factors that influence the mother’s nutrient in the breastfeeding period are lack of knowledge, lack of confident/attitude, also lack family support and environment. This research used an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study approach. The respondents of this research were 34 mothers that also the total of population. Data analysis was performed in univariate and bivariate analysis with the purpose of testing the hypothesis. Then, the method used was the Chi-Square Test (x2) and used the SPSS 17th version. The result would be considered significant if p-value < 0,05. The result of this study shows that there was the influence of individual understanding toward consumption of young breastfeeding mother with p-value 0,003. There was an influence of family support toward consumption of young breastfeeding mother with p-value 0,028. Then, there was an influence of social culture toward consumption of young breastfeeding mother with p-value 0,027. It can be concluded that there was an influence between individual understanding, family support and social culture toward food consumption of young breastfeeding mothers. Midwives and the community are expected to improve the understanding of individual breastfeeding young mothers and the community about nutritional needs during breastfeeding in various ways, including counseling and mentoring.Makanan yang diberikan kepada ibu menyusui harus mengandung cukup kalori (energi) guna mengganti energi yang dikeluarkan maupun yang dibutuhkan untuk menghasilkan ASI. Berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi gizi ibu pada masa menyusui, adalah kurangnya pengetahuan ibu, kurangnya rasa percaya diri ibu/sikap, serta kurangnya dukungan keluarga dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bersifat survey analitik, pendekatan cross sectional dengan responden penelitian 34 orang yang merupakan total dari populasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan tujuan menguji hipotesis, dengan menggunakan aplikasi komputer SPSS versi 17, dan digunakan uji Chi-Square Tets (x2), dengan kategori bermakna jika p value < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemahaman individu terhadap konsumsi makanan ibu muda menyusui dengan p= 0,003, ada pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap konsumsi makanan ibu muda menyusui dengan nilai p= 0,028, dan ada pengaruh sosial budaya terhadap konsumsi makanan ibu muda menyusui dengan nilai p= 0,027. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara pemahaman individu, dukungan keluarga dan sosial budaya terhadap konsumsi makanan ibu muda menyusui. Diharapkan kepada Puskesmas, bidan dan masyarakat agar dapat meningkatkan pemahaman individu ibu muda menyusui dan masyarakat tentang kebutuhan nutrisi pada masa menyusui melalui.
Berdasarkan Profil Dinas Kesehatan Aceh Besar Angka kematian ibu tahun 2014 sebanyak 29 orang dengan kasus preeklampsia sebanyak (20,8%), perdarahan sebanyak (20,8%), infeksi/sepsis sebanyak (34,5%), dan penyebab lain sebanyak (24,1%). Dan Berdasarkan survei awal yang dilakukan peneliti di Puskesmas Krueng Barona Jaya Kecamatan Krueng Barona Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar, diketahui bahwa pada bulan Januari sampai Mei 2017 didapatkan data jumlah kunjungan ibu hamil sebanyak 367 ibu dan diantaranya memiliki tekanan darah tinggi sebanyak 122 ibu hamil. Hal ini penyebab langsung kematian ibu pada saat persalinan. Penelitian ini bersifat Survei Analitik dengan desain cross sectional, Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 96 responden, dengan analisis data yang digunakan adalah univariat dan bivariat. Tempat penelitian ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Krueng Barona Jaya Kecamatan Krueng Barona Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun 2017. Dari hasil uji statistik chi-square dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara umur dengan hipertensi pada wanita hamil (P-value 0,004 < 0,05) dengan OR 3.722, ada hubungan pengetahuan dengan hipertensi pada wanita hamil (P-value 0,002 < 0,05) dengan OR 4.142 dan terdapat hubungan antara pola makan dengan hipertensi pada wanita hamil (P-value 0,007 < 0,05) dengan OR 3.429 di Puskesmas Krueng Barona Jaya Kecamatan Krueng Barona Jaya Kabupaten Aceh Besar Tahun 2017. Diharapkan kepada Puskesmas dan petugas kesehatan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan dan penyuluhan tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan tekanan dalam masa kehamilan.
Coverage of Fe3 tablet consumption in pregnant women in the Lampisang Health Center area is only 20%, this is because health workers have less role in providing information about the benefits of Fe3 tablets to pregnant women, there is no family support and are not compliant in consuming Fe3 tablets. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the low coverage of Fe3 tablets in pregnant women. The population in this study were 276 pregnant women, with a sample of 73 respondents using proportional sampling technique. The study was conducted on 7-16 August 2019, using a cross sectional approach. Data analysis using Chi-Square test. Univariate test results showed that Fe3 tablets were not achieved (64.4%), the role of health workers who did not play a role (54.8%), non-compliant pregnant women (60.3%) and family support (54.8%). Bivariate test results revealed that there is a relationship between the role of health workers with p value = 0.001, family support with p value = 0.001 and compliance with pregnant women with p value = 0.001) with the low coverage of Fe3 tablet delivery to pregnant women. Conclusion The role of health workers, family support and compliance of pregnant women is a factor related to the low coverage of Fe3 tablet delivery for pregnant women in the Work Area of Lampisang Health Center in Aceh Besar Regency in 2019. It is recommended for puskesmas to increase health promotion activities for pregnant women regarding the importance of consuming tablets Fe3
