Subject. The article discusses a methodology for analysis of development and distribution of high-tech products. Objectives. The aim is to elaborate methods and models to analyze and predict the development of high-tech products on the case of robotics and mobile devices. Methods. We offered methods of analyzing the dynamics of technical indicators, developed models of price dependence on absolute and relative technical indicators by generation. For certain types of high-tech products, we constructed price models for various stages of life cycle (initial stage, stages of growth, maturity and saturation), proposed models to identify the impact of socio-economic factors and to assess possible risks of using high-tech products. Results. The paper offers a methodology and tools to analyze and predict indicators of development and distribution of high-tech products, presents modifications of logistic models that help forecast changes in technical and economic indicators in the short term. We constructed econometric models that consider socio-economic factors and risks affecting the speed of distribution and the scale of use of high-tech products, using the case of industrial and service robotics, mobile devices. The study unveils positive correlation of price and complex indicator of technical complexity of the considered types of high-tech products. Conclusions. The paper demonstrates that the developed models and methods enable to forecast the dynamics of technical and economic indicators, distribution in the market, and to assess potential risks of usage.
Subject. The article analyzes development trends in certain types of service robots, namely, hybrid UAVs, bionic prosthetic hands, robotic vacuum cleaners. Objectives. We focus on identifying the main trends in the development of certain types of service robots, building dynamic models of their technical indicators and models of dependence of their price and weight on absolute characteristics and technical parameters. Methods. The study employs methods of correlation and multiple regression analysis. The data of the IFR, the Remotely Piloted Aircraft System, and websites of robot manufacturers serve as the informational basis of the paper. Results. The modeling unveils positive correlation between the integrated indicator of the technical level of hybrid UAVs of convertiplane type and the wingspan. The analysis of modern bionic prosthetic hands shows that the developers focus on optimizing the structure of the prosthetic, however, as the functions of the hand improve, the weight of bionic hand increases. The main factors influencing the price of robot vacuum cleaners are their power, weight, and operating hours. Conclusions. The unit price of a complex indicator of the technical level of hybrid UAVs is lower than the corresponding indicator of fixed-wing UAVs, reflecting a greater efficiency of hybrid UAVs. The analysis of technical indicators of robotic prosthetics (using the case of bionic hands) shows that any improvement of functional characteristics leads to deterioration of weight. The analysis of technical and economic indicators of robotic vacuum cleaners reveals a positive correlation between the price and weight, operating hours and power.
The article analyzes the features of the development and diffusion of active and passive exoskeletons for industry and healthcare in Russia and abroad. Particular attention is paid to Russian developments in connection with the sanctions imposed by a number of countries on the supply of high-tech products to Russia. Models of the dynamics of technical indicators of industrial exoskeletons were built, it was carried out the study of the development trends of medical exoskeletons based on the analysis of their technical and economic indicators.
Subject. The work analyzes the features of service robotics development and distribution during the coronavirus pandemic, using the case of delivery drones and UVC disinfection robots. Objectives. The aim is to identify the main trends in the development of certain types of service robots during the COVID-19 period, analyze technical and economic characteristics, assess assistive technologies for the future development of robotics. Methods. The study draws on methods of correlation and regression analysis. To assess the development trends of certain types of service robots, we apply website data of manufacturers of the equipment under consideration. Results. We unveil major trends in the development and production of certain types of service robots during the fight against coronavirus, using the case of unmanned aerial vehicles and disinfection robots. The development of delivery drones is aimed at solving the problems of flight efficiency, increasing the flight time, reducing the energy use and noise, and ensuring the safety of delivered goods. Medical robotics developers focus on streamlining the management interface, increasing the speed of task execution, enhancing the reporting abilities. Conclusions. Our analysis shows that the coronavirus pandemic affected the speed of development and implementation of robots in medicine. The market is shifting towards the production of UV-disinfection robots. The most important technical and economic characteristics of the main types of disinfection robots are the surface treatment cycle to achieve the maximum disinfecting effect, maximum operating time (without recharging), charging time, wavelength of radiation, weight of device.
