In modern conditions of growth of all spheres of social life in Ukraine, the problem of leadership becomes especially urgent, because society needs leaders who are able to unite people around them to achieve the set goal and contribute to its moral development. Despite the significant development of the topic of leadership in general, at the same time, scientific research lacks diagnostics and means of forming communicative and leadership qualities in students of general secondary education institutions. The article analyzes the formation of leadership qualities of students in the educational process of general secondary education institutions. Emphasis is placed on society's need for sociable leadership personalities that must be nurtured from childhood. After all, who this person will become in the future depends on the upbringing process. Therefore, the topic of leadership attracts the attention of representatives of various directions. Research on the education of leadership qualities of an individual does not give a holistic view of the project activity of education of these qualities. The main qualities of a leader include: responsibility, demandingness in the performance of work in relation to oneself and people; honesty before oneself and people; empathy (to feel empathy); able to influence others; communicativeness; organized in any spheres of life; is able to demonstrate a personal example in behavior and activity; self-confidence; able to manage himself and his own emotions; ready to make responsible decisions. Special attention should be paid to the analysis of diagnostics of communicative and organizational abilities according to the method of V.V. Sinyavskyi and B.O. Fedoryshyn The communicative and organizational abilities of higher education students were investigated and identified, which include the rapid establishment of relationships between people, the establishment of business contacts, their participation and involvement in public and group events, initiative, the ability to take responsibility and influence people or the group as a whole. directs their activities in a certain direction, which contributes to the achievement of common goals.
The article analyzes the formation of leadership qualities of students in institutions of higher education. It is emphasized that the development of the leadership potential of education seekers is an urgent problem for institutions of higher education, since it is during the student years that active formation of value orientations, social position, and determination of life priorities of a young person takes place. Today, a student of higher education can independently make decisions, put forward new ideas, developing leadership potential. Therefore, with the aim of creating leaders of a new generation, the problem of developing the leadership potential of students of geography faculties is gaining relevance. Universities, acting as centers of education, science and culture, have significant opportunities for continuous development of the individual, including his leadership abilities. Accumulating and transmitting innovative pedagogical experience, the university creates a modern educational space that can train high-quality specialists who consciously assume the functions of management and effective leadership in various areas of professional activity. In order to develop and implement forms of work for the development of the leadership potential of geography students, the most effective organizational forms of socio-pedagogical work in the direction of the development of leadership potential have been singled out, namely, training that performs transformative, corrective, preventive and adaptive functions; the student scientific circle is aimed at communication, exchange of ideas and thoughts, improvement and development of knowledge of education seekers in scientific spheres of activity, personality formation; quest – a competition, sequential performance of pre-prepared tasks by individual players or teams; debate; Round Table; individual work; portfolio as a way of recording, accumulating, evaluating and self-assessing personal achievements over a certain period of time, etc. Special attention should be paid to the diagnosis of the leadership abilities of higher education students studying at the Faculty of Geography of the Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University, conducted according to the methodology of E. Zharikov and Krushelnytskyi. This technique allows you to assess a person's ability to be a leader. After analyzing the results, we see that the leadership qualities of most of the applicants are below average, which is characterized by a lack of desire to communicate, a tendency to spend time alone. They don't feel active and relaxed. It is difficult for such students to establish contacts with people. They do not stand up for their point of view, they hardly tolerate criticism. They practically do not show initiative, do not make independent decisions. In practice, there is still a fairly significant proportion of students who, according to their personal manifestations, are quite non-initiative, do not have any expressed abilities and do not seek to express themselves, to achieve a prestigious social status by their own efforts. Such manifestations complicate the processes of their social adaptation and professional development. Therefore, the analysis of the state of study of the problem of leadership and the formation of leadership qualities in the works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists recognizes the insufficient level of research on the problem of the formation of leadership qualities among students of geographical universities. The development of modern interactive forms and methods of forming leadership qualities in students of geography faculties requires further scientific study.
The article analyzes the impact of information and communication technologies of education on the transformation of digital competence of teachers. The necessity of formation of digital competence of teachers at conditions of wide introduction of information and communication technologies in educational process is proved. The place and role of application of information and communication technologies in the organization of educational process, and also use of computers, multimedia and information technologies which influence improvement of motivation and individualization of training are analyzed. Among them are the growth of such processes as attention, memory, thinking, imagination, speech, developed sense of composition. Thus, the use of computers, interactive equipment will affect the growth of knowledge and skills of students, which will lead to the development of intellectual and motivational nature. This in turn will change the procedure for providing educational services, make classes more visual and interesting. The teacher will act as a creative leader, will guide the transition of students from static to dynamic knowledge. That is, the structure of classes with the use of information and communication technologies will change the very essence of the educational process, turn it into communication, where the roles of teacher and educator are balanced. The analysis of digital competence of teachers acquires special relevance in the article. A survey was conducted in which 122 teachers of secondary and higher education institutions of Ukraine took part. The research methodology was based on the European Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu). As a result, the level of their competence in working with digital technologies is analyzed. Today, the teaching profession is facing rapidly changing demands. This requires educators to develop digital competence. It is not enough for a teacher to have only basic skills in the field of information technology. In our opinion, digital competence is an important component of the professional competence of a modern teacher.
