This letter describes the main features of a data set that contains aerial images acquired with a medium format digital camera and point clouds collected using an airborne laser scanning unit, as well as ground control points and direct georeferencing data. The flights were performed in 2014 over an urban area in Presidente Prudente, São Paulo, Brazil, using different flight heights. These flights covered several features of interest for research, including buildings of different sizes and roof materials, roads, and vegetation. Three point clouds with different densities, a block of digital aerial images, and auxiliary data are available. A geometric assessment was conducted to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the data, and an RMSE of 7 cm was achieved using bundle block adjustment. The data set is freely available for download, and it will be expanded with data collected over time.
The objective of this study is to evaluate, through a multidimensional index, the level of rural development of the municipalities in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. The process used to determine the rural development factors, the contextualization of the dimensions, as well as the definition of the variables assigned to each one of them were carried out in order to accomplish this proposal. Thus, it was possible to elaborate and to analyze the mathematical index. Methodologically, we used Systematic Bibliographic Review, analytical exploration of the results, cluster analysis and Tukey test for index validation. Based on the analysis of the results it was possible to observe neighboring municipalities with similar results, which may justify not only the local evaluation but also a micro-regional or meso-regional study. The understanding of the quality of rural life of São Paulo, through a multidimensional index, was able to generate prior knowledge for development policies at regional and local scale.
Innovation enables organizations to achieve increased competitiveness, through increased productivity, organization and marketing, with the possible consequence of opening new markets. The case of agro-industrial chains it’s not different, in which the innovations along the chain have repercussion in the whole sector. In this way, this article aims to analyze the contributions of innovation in the groundnut production chain between 1996 and 2016, which went from culture with an import profile in the late 1990’s to the export profile in the 2000’s. It was used a qualitative approach and a descriptive research based on bibliographic research in databases, such as FAOSTAT and CONAB. Through the research it was possible to verify that the technological, marketing and organizational innovations were of great contribution to the recovery of the groundnut culture.
RESUMOSensores de posição e orientação podem ser adquiridos e integrados com um custo relativamente baixo para aplicações em mapeamento. A utilização de câmaras digitais de pequeno e médio formato em sistemas de aquisição de imagens aéreas, proporciona vantagens sobre sistemas fotogramétricos convencionais, como: redução de custo, dimensões e peso. Este trabalho teve como objetivo a implementação e avaliação de hardware e software para permitir o sincronismo entre receptores GPS e câmaras digitais de modo a fornecer diretamente as coordenadas do centro perspectivo. O sincronismo foi realizado com o uso do sistema operacional Linux, juntamente com o software NTP, responsável por sincronizar o relógio do computador com uma referência de tempo externa. A validação foi realizada comparando-se diretamente os instantes registrados pelo sistema comercial SPAN-CPT e a técnica proposta neste trabalho. Além disto, os Centros Perspectivos (CPs) determinados pelas técnicas implementadas foram usados em experimentos com fototriangulação de um bloco de imagens, possibilitando a análise de discrepâncias nos pontos de verificação. O resultado do sincronismo apresentou discrepâncias da ordem de 0,15 m em relação ao sistema comercial, implicando na determinação das coordenadas dos CPs com qualidade compatível com a aplicação da técnica desenvolvida em projetos de mapeamento.
