The reality of progress which is the wealth of the nation has been misinterpreted by religious groups that divide the nation. The reality today is that religion has become a commodity that exploits "bottenless" substandard morality like barbarians who are as violent as early humans. Spiritual leaders should not use the congregation as a commodity for self-popularity and hedonism, on the contrary, church leaders should make God's people truly have an attachment to God and not this world. Religious moderation is to minimize violence against different beliefs. This article aims to offer religious moderation that builds tolerance and plurality in Indonesia. Realitas kemajukan yang merupakan kekayaan bangsa sudah disalahartikan oleh kelompok agamis yang memecah belah bangsa. Realitas saat ini agama menjadi komoditas yang mengeksplotasi moralitas yang “bottenless” dibawah standar bagaikan bar-bar yang beringas seperti manusia purba. Para pemimpin rohani seharusnya tidak memanfaatkan jemaat sebagai komoditas popularitas diri dan hidup hedon sebaliknya pemimpin gereja harus membuat umat Tuhan sungguh-sungguh memiliki kemelekatan dengan Tuhan bukan dunia ini. Moderasi agama adalah meminimalis akan kekerasan terhadap kepercayaan yang berbeda. Artikel ini bertujuan menawarkan moderasi beragama yang membangun toleransi dan pluralitas di Indonesia.
The doctrine of the Holy Spirit and its praxis has been controversial among God's people. This controversy has even emerged since the beginning of the church about the person and position of the Holy Spirit with God the Father and the Son. This article aims to briefly explore the doctrine of the Holy Spirit and its praxis into the community of God's people. The writing method used is a praxis systematic critical method to examine the various nuances of the argument against the Holy Spirit with the aim of placing it in a proper understanding of the trinity concept. The result of this writing is the doctrine of the Holy Spirit there is no personality difference between God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, because humans meet these "persons" in every spiritual aspect. By conceptualizing God in the realm of the Spirit of God, it will be a more practical way to describe activities in community life. Doktrin Roh Kudus dan praksisnya telah memberikan kontroversi selama ini di antara umat Tuhan. Kontroversi ini bahkan sudah muncul mulai permulaan gereja bagaimana pribadi dan posisi Roh Kudus dengan Allah Bapa dan Putra. Artikel ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi secara singkat doktrin Roh Kudus dan praksisnya ke dalam komunitas umat Tuhan. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode kritis sistematis praksis untuk menelaah berbagai nuansa argumen terhadap Roh Kudus dengan tujuan menempatkannya dalam pemahaman yang tepat tentang konsep trinitas. Hasil dari penulisan ini adalah doktrin Roh Kudus tidak ada perbedaan kepribadian antara Allah Bapa, Anak dan Roh Kudus, karena manusia bertemu dengan “pribadi-pribadi” ini dalam setiap aspek rohani. Dengan mengkonseptualisasikan Tuhan dalam alam Roh Allah akan menjadi cara yang lebih praktis untuk menggambarkan aktivitas secara kehidupan komunitas.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Spiritual Guidance and Changes in Social Behavior of Prisoners in Class 1A Penitentiary Cipinang, Jakarta, Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative survey research methodology. The data collection technique applied a Likert scale with four answer choices which were distributed to 87 inmates and 40 respondents were sampled. Ethical clearnce was obtained to conduct the research. The results showed that the Spiritual Development variable had a score above the average of 21 prisoners or 77.5%, so it can be said that the Spiritual Development of inmates was good. Meanwhile, the variable of Change in Social Behavior of Prisoners is above the average of 18 inmates or 70%, so it can be said that the Change of Social Behavior of Prisoners is also good. The results of data processing thus clearly showed that there is a correlation between the variables of Spiritual Development and Changes in Social Behavior of Prisoners of 0.528 or 52.8%. This means that the applied Spiritual Guidance has a positive role in Changes in Social Behavior of Prisoners in Class 1A Penitentiary Cipinang, Jakarta, Indonesia. This article is an important contribution for Christian counselors and educators to further guide them in improving the spiritual development of inmates as a pattern of social behavior change, because it can also serve the purpose of improving the personality of prisoners.
One must never forget that it is God alone who has ultimate authority over all things in heaven and on earth. The power of the Church is based strongly on discipleship that is entrenched in individuals and their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. In general, the term Christianity as a supernatural religion is still in some ways foreign to the ears of the church of God. Even supernatural concepts may be considered heretical if they are not understood correctly. Where there is a lack of information about the mystical supernatural world, everything that smells of occultism is convicted as a violation of the second law and is considered as a sin. Supernatural Christianity actually invites people back to the church of God to find the essence of their spirituality that is manifested in "intimacy" by God’s creatures in daily life. The research method adopted in this study was a descriptive qualitative method in which some of the literature related to the topic of supernatural life in Christianity was analysed. The results of this study indicate that Christians are a representation of God's own presence because the knowledge of the Creator God is all present in the Lordship of Christ. The search for the Creator in the supernatural universe is not an endless search, but a clear search with a definite identity found in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. The church must invite the congregation to fall down in peace in the presence of God so that the bond between God and His church can be strengthened and then the Church of God will be able to practice the teachings of God more fully in the lives of believers’. Believers must master the gifts of the Holy Spirit and use them to strengthen their own theological identity, while they should also practice the different spiritual gifts in a personal way that allows them to introspect and serve God in spirit and in truth.
