The purpose of this study is to provide an alternative practice in learning for science teachers in elementary schools in order to increase student interest in science and technology. In the implementation of science practicum in elementary school, teachers and students are actively invited to practice with tools and materials that are easy to obtain and use. The method used in this research is by field study with workshop activities for students and elementary school teachers. The implementation of science fun learning is able to increase students’ interest in science and technology and motivate teachers to be creative and apply the concept of fun science learning in guiding the science subject practice in the classroom.
The implementation of bureaucratic reform in Indonesia is not optimal and faces various obstacles. At present, public services demand excellent service and meet public satisfaction. The obstacles are rigid bureaucracy, incompetent bureaucrats or apparatuses, not professional, and there are technological gaps. Rapid technological development, such as digital technology and big data, has not been responded to positively by most bureaucrats. Big Data has a great potential for improving bureaucratic and public services. With a qualitative method and a waterfall software development life cycle, this article provides the design of a bureaucracy sentiment analysis application which implements Big Data technology for analyzing the opinions about bureaucratic service in Indonesia. This is for the purpose that the bureaucratic services can be improved based on societal opinion. The results of the experiment using RapidMiner showed that sentiment analysis as a Big Data technique for bureaucratic service based on societal opinion can be used to evaluate performance better.
The purpose of this study to discover and reveal the social construction of masculine woman identity in terms of externalization, objectivation, and internalization. This study used a qualitative approach, with a method or theory of social reality construction of constructivism paradigm. Data collection was done through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and literature. The study finding showed that the social construction of masculine woman identity in terms of externalization is influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factor is influenced by a family that makes informants show the social construction of masculine woman identity to the public. While external factor is influenced by association with male friend and technological advances (mass media) that have contributed to the formation of character, appearance style, and feeling to others. In general, social identity construction of masculine woman constructs her identity in a way showed that masculine woman does not always have a negative character. In this case, a masculine woman can survive and adapt to the family, campus and community environments. The research finding showed that appearance changes will only happen if there is a will from the masculine woman herself, and the comfort level of masculine appearance can not change the identity.
School-Based Management (SBM) is an attempt to improve the quality of education. This study aims to determine the process of preparation, planning, implementation, management and community participation as well as the factors supporting the achievement of integrated education. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The subjects of this study were principals and teachers of the Cijantung Sukatani State Elementary School, Purwakarta. The results showed that the planning process in the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) which includes the establishment of the School's Vision and Mission as well as the discipline carried out by every school member. The implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) at SD Negeri Cijantung is planned and can be implemented properly.
