The government, through the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia has allocated a National Economic Recovery (PEN) fund as a response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which has caused a decrease in tourist visits. The funds are provided for the procurement of facilities and infrastructure that support the tourism sector. One of the embodiments of this program is the plan to procure a tour bus that will take tourists from one tourist attraction to another. To analyze whether this program is the right decision in increasing the number of tourist visits, it is necessary to conduct a study that measures the influence of prospective tourists' perceptions of the quality of tour bus services on the interest of tourist visits. The measurement of prospective tourists' perceptions of the quality of tour bus services is carried out by asking questions regarding the dimensions of the quality of tour bus services, namely waiting time, walking distance to the shelter, travel time, speed and cost/sacrifice to get service. While the interest of tourist visits is measured by asking questions related to tourist intentions, tourists' desires and tourist plans to visit tourist objects that provide tourist bus services. The technical analysis of the data in this study is in the form of multiple regression using STATA 14. Furthermore, the sample in this study is the general public who have an interest in traveling. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide information about the reasons tourists are interested in visiting a tourist attraction related to the tourist's perception of the quality of tour bus services. Furthermore, these results will be utilized by tour bus service providers to provide the best quality for their consumers.
Tourism villages are essential in improving the community's welfare and driving the local and regional economy. Meanwhile, the Covid-19 pandemic has directly impacted the decline in tourist visits, both domestic and foreign, resulting in the loss of potential economic income for the community. This research applies a qualitative descriptive approach and aims to describe how community-based tourism in Nglanggeran Tourism Village is managed and adapted amid the Covid-19 pandemic using the Narrative Policy Framework (NPF). NPF elements (setting, characters, plot and moral) and content play an important role in shaping policy processes and outcomes so they can explain the policy process of Nglanggeran Tourism management policy to recover the economy amid the Covid-19 pandemic. The study shows that the setting problem in this study is the struggle to conceive a management policy for Nglanggeran Tourism Village to survive the covid 19 pandemic. The victims were harmed by the existence of villains (the Covid-19 pandemic) were rural communities whose daily income was mainly from tourism management. The policy recovery management was successful because the heroes have worked a big deal in their role to achieve the success of tourism.
Innovations from civil servants determine government bureaucracy. However, their effectiveness toward the emergence of public sector innovations has not been widely explored, particularly from civil servants' perception of local government institutions in a 3T region. This study examines the civil servants' perception of the emergence of public sector innovations and identifies the factors that influence them. Thirty-nine civil servants of the innovation laboratory WhatsApp group from North Lombok Regency in the 3T regions participated in this study. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression. The result of the study discovered that most civil servants have a positive insight into the emergence of public sector innovations. They perceived that leader are essential in encouraging innovations in the public sector. Their organisational climate is open to new things. However, attention regarding employee rewards after completing work challenges is still lacking. Meanwhile, their organisation has sufficient capacity to encourage job completion. Multiple regression analysis revealed that independent variables (transformational leadership, organisational climate, and organisational capacity) have a 54.9% contribution and simultaneously affect the emergence of public sector innovations. The partial regression coefficient test revealed that organizational climate contributed the most, with a 33.4% contribution to the emergence of public sector innovations. The results of this study provide implications for both academic and government settings, especially in the organisational climate, which turned out to have been significantly affected by the emergence of public sector innovations
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is mandatory and every company is expected to fulfil this obligation. Generally, the company makes and implements its CSR program incidentally and eliminates obligations. Therefore, not all the benefits of CSR programs impact the community. One of the causes is the overlapping of activities between CSR and government programs. Thus, the Muara Enim Regency established a CSR forum as part of its strategies to reconcile these prevailing dilemmas. This study aims to describe the CSR forum of Muara Enim Regency and measure the impact of the CSR forum as a form of company participation in development. This study employed the before-after comparison method and post-test without a comparison group and baseline data. The results of the study analysis revealed that the CSR forum has become one of the new sources of funding for the development of the Muara Enim Regency. The records also showed that the planning and implementation of CSR programs are more targeted as they are carried out bottom-up according to community needs. Clearly, there is no overlapping of CSR programs/activities. Furthermore, the application of the strategy resulted to the increasing commitment with the local government units, private sector, and society. With all these indicators, the researchers therefore conclude that the strategy for establishing a CSR forum is an effective platform for the private sector to participate in development in Muara Enim Regency.
The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology has issued Circular Letter 4 of 2021 concerning implementing Face-to-face Learning for the Academic Year 2021/2022. Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has responded by giving Circular Letter Number: B/11898/UN37/KM/2021 concerning hybrid Lectures for Odd Semester 2021/2022 in Universitas Negeri Semarang. Limited face-to-face lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic came up with many challenges and required rigorous preparation. It is because UNNES will not take any actions that put both its employees and students at risk. This study uses a qualitative research approach framework that describes a phenomenon and information related to implementing hybrid learning during the pandemic. UNNES has successfully implemented both preparation and implementation stages according to the guideline. No Covid-19 cases have been found caused by performing mixed class. However, there is still a concern about the absence of temporary isolation rooms for academics and students with Covid-19 symptoms/criteria. This part is compulsory based on the circular letter issued by The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology. It has not been fulfilled yet in almost every department with a hybrid class.
