With a little time and too much information to learn, Infographics were used to support as data visualization. Visual communication is communication through visual aids. Visual communication is more effective than reading and hearing information. There are so many infographics for everything; however, how can we know which one has a good or not so good design. The aim of the paper is to clarify the evaluation approach of infographic in many aspects and methods. The paper presents the definition and the uses of infographic in the introduction section. The types of infographics are mentioned with the examples. The trendy multimedia and interactive infographic are introduced. The most important part of the paper is the evaluation approach, which will be addressed with the questions and discussion for infographic developer. The recommendation for infographic designing will be concluded in the last section of the paper.
Ontologies mentioned in this paper appear in the part of serving the objects identification of object oriented software engineering in initial phase. More ontologies are becoming available on the web, and are increasing in number and demand. Semantic and ontologies search engines have also started to appear, to assist search and recovery of online ontologies which it is the first start to find the ontologies for particular domain of interest. Considering object oriented software engineering, the difficulty of searching the appropriate objects for the system is the one major problem. The main objective of this reserach is to integrate the different eXtensible Markup Language based (XML-based) formats offered online by using produced Java-based application program to merge and modify ontologies into complete object model. The program will allow the developer to choose objects (extracted from ontologies classes) and their components which are attributes, operations, and relationships. The final result of the program will be used as the sketch object diagrams of the system. in this paper we represent travel domain of interest as the example for the approach.
International audienceThe research is aim to create MRT: Metropolitan Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (Underground Train) and BTS: Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (Sky Train) interactive route navigation map. This map shows the whole routes of both MRT and BTS train stations which are located in the interactive manner. The design is not only a proposal for showing the whole information about direction and price information of transportation by MRT and BTS in Bangkok. But also this research took these concepts one step further, by introducing interactive map which the viewers/passengers can access the information from everywhere via the internet. The goal of this interactive navigation map is to satisfy informative. Problem space includes 2 different user groups. Regardless of age or background, they do all have the same purpose; travel with the train. The User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology has been applied in developing processes of this research
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
