Previous researchers have had a long debate about the urgency of the application of transformational and instructional leadership models for educational organizations. Nevertheless, there is a stream of research that seeks to bridge the conflict by recommending the adoption of principal leadership in educational organizations. Principal leadership combines the advantages of transformational and instructional leadership applications in a leadership model. While it still has many contradictions in its form, the potential use of this leadership model needs to be explored further to get a useful leadership model in schools. This study aims to investigate how teachers respond to principal leadership practices. The response is assessed by principal leadership indicators that may be practiced naturally. This study using survey method to collecting the data with the help of questionnaires to high school teachers in North Sumatra, Indonesia. With purposive sampling and snowball techniques, this study received 352 responses. The responses are then tabulated and analyzed using factor analysis. The results of this study indicate the potential application of principal leadership in North Sumatra. The application of leadership principals systematically can increase the effectiveness of schools that will have implications for improving teacher performance and student achievement.
The results of the assessment using CIPP as a decision. Evaluation decisions for the application of learning. This study aims to provide an assessment of project-based learning on classroom construction material for class V SDN 250 Sinar Gading II. Implementation of research with a qualitative approach by applying the CIPP evaluation model. Implementation of the overall evaluation of the aspects of context, input, process, and output of results/products to assess the effectiveness of project-based learning. The subjects were teachers and fourth grade students at SDN 250 Sinar Gading II. The data were obtained by primary and secondary observations and the data were analyzed and described. The overall project-based learning on the material for the V grade students of SDN 250 Sinar Gading II was very good.
The research objectives to be achieved are the process of making LKPD based on local wisdom, the level of validity, the effectiveness of LKPD implementation of LKPD based on Local Wisdom in increasing student interest in learning and the use of LKPD in improving learning outcomes. The results of the research obtained are that the LKPD that has been developed has been very valid (very feasible) to use and does not require any more improvement according to BSNP standards, with an average calculated value of 4.93. The increase in student learning outcomes using LKPD based on local wisdom was higher than the learning outcomes of students who used conventional books, namely 68.35% > 23.55%. The results of hypothesis testing student learning outcomes obtained a calculated price of > ttabel, namely 30.04> 1.708 with a degree of significance (α = 0.05) so that Ha was accepted.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
