The aim of the research is to examine relationship between self-efficacy beliefs and attitudes for assessment and evaluation of physical education candidate teachers. In this research, the relational model has been used. Study group consists of 86 women (48%), 93 men (52%) and total 179 physical education teacher candidates (M age =22.17, SD=1.61) who are studying at physical education department in three universities. As data collection tool "Self-Efficacy Perceptions of Candidate Teachers at Assessment and Evaluation in Education" and "Attitude toward Educational Measurement Inventory" has been used. In the analysis, addition to descriptive statistics, inferential statistics such as correlation and regression analysis has been used. It has determined that ''self-efficacy based-skill'' belief for assessment and evaluation in this research has a moderate effect size towards attitude for assessment and evaluation. Also, it has been shown that variables constituting self-efficacy belief subscale for assessment and evaluation have explained 10% of total variance for assessment and evaluation of attitude in education. Besides, it has been found that attitude and self-efficacy beliefs of teacher candidates for assessment and evaluation in education were high level.
The aim of this study is to adapt the Physical Education Trait Anxiety Scale developed by Barkoukis, Rodafinos, Koidou and Tsorbatzoudis (2012) in Turkish. Being in English originally, this scale consists of 18 items and 3 dimensions. First of all, the original scale was translated into Turkish for adaptation study. It was aimed to determine whether the Turkish form and English form had the same meaning in the practice, the original and then the translated form of the scale were applied two weeks apart on a group of high school students. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient was considered to test the consistency between scores obtained from the both scales and it was found to be .995. Accordingly, high-level, positive and significant relationship was found between Turkish and English scales. The scale with lingual equivalence was applied on a total of 190 highschool students. Internal consistency coefficient of the whole scale was found to be .94 and testretest reliability of the scale was found to be .96. Internal consistency coefficient was found to be .93 for the first sub-dimension "Cognitive Processes"; .97 for the second sub-dimension "Somatic Anxiety" and .98 for the third subdimension "Worry". In many sports like volleyball, jumping, balance and explosive strength which are biomotor abilities have become more important day by day to succeed. Athletes focus on games at game period so the time that they spend for improving their biomotor abilities can be less. Therefore, performance that obtained in preparation period and sustaining that performance in whole season affect significantly team rank at the end of the season. In the lights of these informations, the affect of amount of jumps with respect to different positions was investigated in major league of Turkey in 2013-2014. There were 149 female volleyball players between the ages 17-27 (age 24.19 ± 2.42) in this study. 12 teams competed with each other and 125 games that is 455 sets were evaluated. Moreover; videos were analyzed three times by experts. Number of jumps in serve, block, spike and setting were recorded. Spearman Brown Order Differential Correlation Coefficient was used for determining the relations between dependent and independent variables and descriptive statistics in analyzing datum. In addition to this, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis was used for investigating regression level between independent and dependent variables. As a result of this, middle blockers jumped the most (M=155.86, SD=39.77) while opposites jumped the least (M=73.31, SD=23.49). The amount of jumps of wing spikers (r= -.130, p<.05) and middle blockers (r= -.185, p<.01) was negatively related with team success at the end of the season in low level. The total amount of jumps in different positions was negatively related with team success at the end of the season in low level too (r= -.156, p<.01). Setters, wing spikers, middle blockers and opposites were listed with respect to regression factor (ß) and their importance level for team success at the end of the league. In conclusion, number of jumps in different positions at game time affects team success positively.
The aim of this study is to determine the predictive power of elementary school students' trait anxiety level in physical education (PE) lesson on their attitudes towards lesson. The study group consisted of 590 elementary school students (M age = 11.46 years, SD= 0.63). In addition to the descriptive statistics, inferential statistics were used in this research like correlation and regression analysis. At the end of the study, it was observed that course on the attitudes of trait anxiety effect size to have a low level of trait anxiety subscale attitude towards the course of the variables that make up 3% of the total variance explained in the levels. Besides, it was identified that students' attitudes towards physical education classes are high, the physical education lesson is a medium level of trait anxiety. Gender-related differences were not significant in the students' trait anxiety and attitudes towards the lesson.
B u çalışmanın amacı, Phillips ve Silverman (2012) tarafından geliştirilen İlköğretim (10-12 Yaş) Beden Eğitimi Dersi Tutum Ölçeğini Türkçeye uyarlamaktır. Uyarlama çalışması için öncelikle özgün ölçeğin Türkçeye çevirisi yapılmıştır. Türkçe form ile İngilizce formun dilsel eşitliğinin incelenmesi amacıyla, önce orijinal ölçek, iki hafta sonra ise Türkçeye çevirisi yapılan ölçek 22 ortaokul öğrencisine uygulanmıştır. Her iki ölçekten alınan puanlar arasındaki tutarlılığı test etmek için Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelasyon Katsayısına bakılmış ve .74 bulunmuştur. Buna göre İngilizce ve Türkçe ölçeklerden elde edilen ölçümler arasında yüksek düzeyde, pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Dilsel eşdeğerliği sağlanan ölçek Ankara ilinde 238 ilköğretim öğrencisine uygulanmıştır. Ölçeğin Türk kültüründeki yapısını inceleyebilmek için açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmış, analiz sonucu iki alt faktör ve 15 maddeden oluşan bir yapı elde edilmiştir.
