Regional potential is the ability of an area in the form of resources that can be used, exploited, and taken advantage of for further development so that it can improve and create regional capabilities. This study aims to make the potential of the physical region contained in the Geospatial based Pringsewu Regency, and the potential of the social area contained in the Geospatial based Pringsewu Regency. The method used is descriptive with a spatial approach. The results of the study are physical and social spatial data of the region including: administration, rainfall, groundwater basins, rivers and watersheds, landforms, slope, soil type, contour and height lines, land use, road networks, land capability, landslides, floods , population, and population density, so that it can be used as a reference in regional development planning.
Kemampuan dan keterampilan guru baik menggunakan maupun mengadakan media pembelajaran dalam proses belajar mengajar di dalam kelas bukan lagi merupakan suatu hal yang dapat diabaikan, akan tetapi ini merupakan suatu keharusan, mengingat dalam era pembangunan pendidikan di masa sekarang dan mendatang bertitik tolak pada kualitas keluarannya. Tujuan dalam pelatihan ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan dalam membuat dan kemampuan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ada 2, yaitu: ceramah (40%) dan praktik (60%) dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 65 orang guru. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman berupa sikap, penguasaan, dan pembuatan media pembelajaran oleh peserta dilakukan dengan semangat yang ditunjukkan dari hasil post test yang memperoleh nilai yang baik para peserta sebanyak 65 orang atau 76,47%.
This study aims to examine the distribution pattern and factors that influence the distribution of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land (LP2B) in the southern part of Pringsewu Regency in 2020. This study uses a descriptive research method. The population in this study were 9 sub-districts in Pringsewu district and the research samples were Pringsewu District, Gading Rejo District, Ambarawa District, Pardasuka District, and Pagelaran District. In this study data collection using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis technique with a spatial approach (spatial) is used as a basis in describing and analyzing research results. The results showed: (1) The distribution pattern of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land (LP2B) in the southern part of Pringsewu Regency was clustered (2) Factors affecting the distribution of Sustainable Food Agricultural Land (LP2B) of Pringsewu Regency were physical factors and social factors. Physical factors are slope, rainfall, soil type, and water availability. Next, social factors are population, and conservation.
This research aimed to: improve the learning activities, and learning outcomes at class VII-1 of SMPN 1 Sungkai Selatan. This research used descriptive method with classroom action research which was conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this research were 36 students from class VII-1 which consist of 20 female students and 16 male students. The data that taken were the result of the end of the cycle and the observation of learning activities and learning outcomes. The result of this research showed that in first cycle, students learning activities reach 52,78% and where as the results of learning outcomes completeness reached 44,44%. In the second cycle students learning activities increased into 64,58%, and the learning outcomes completeness also increased to 52,78%. In the third cycle which one to be the result of this research showed, students learning activities increased to 75,69%, the percentage of learning outcomes completeness also increased to 80,55%. Based on those result, it can be concluded that teaching through media animation can improve the learning activities, and learning outcomes IPS.
Students with creative thinking skills shall be able to solve problems swiftly and properly and able to face various challenges in life. The objectives of this research to produce geography teaching material for grade X to make students think creatively. This research used stages in a research and development method developed by Dick and Carey. Validation tests to determine teaching material properness were done by Indonesian language expert, teaching material expert, and design expert in small and big test groups. Data were analyzed by using statistical descriptive analysis with percentage. The result showed that the geography teaching material for senior high school students was effective to use in learning by 92% average effectiveness score. The test results in small group showed average effectiveness by 88%, and students' creative thinking results were 9% very good, 88% good, and 13% enough, with creative thinking skill average score of 75. The test results in big group showed average effectiveness by 86%, and students' creative thinking results were 15% very good, 80% good, and 53% enough, with creative thinking skill average score of 76.
