<p><em>This research aims to optimize the supply of raw material for nylon powder for the manufacturing industry. The problem was found in the nylon powder warehouse which was out of stock so that it had to be replaced with plastic raw materials to keep the production process running. The change of raw material from nylon powder to plasco was done because the company did not make an emergency order for nylon powder. This is due to the high cost of emergency orders. The use of plasco powder makes the company accept a sizeable return of goods. Therefore it is necessary to do a good inventory management to overcome the out of stock. The method used to solve this problem is the probabilistic P back order model. Demand in the previous period was normally distributed. The results of processing with the P back order model produce a service level of 99.95%. It is hoped that the company will not experience out of stock again. In addition, a savings of 4.50% were obtained from the total costs incurred by the company. Inventory policy obtained using the P back order model with an order time of (T) 0.358 or for 130 days a new order will be made, and the total inventory cost is Rp.418,363,268 / year with a service level of 99.995%.</em></p>
This research aims to determine the planning of raw material requirements for LM-Hamburger Bun Jempol product at PT. Lotte Shopping Indonesia. This research uses Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with Silver-Meal, Least Total Cost (LTC), and Least Unit Cost (LUC) techniques to calculate the optimal lot size, reorder point time and calculate the smallest total order costs and holding costs. The observation period was carried out for three months, starting from February to April 2018. The data used in this research were product demand data from February to April 2018, and raw material inventory data at the end of April 2018. Comparison of the three techniques it is based on the smallest total inventory costs. The results of these comparisons have been found which have the lowest total cost of the LTC technique of Rp. 17,220,819 while the total cost with Silver-Meal technique is Rp. 17,289,584, and with the LUC technique amounting to Rp. 18,386,458. Therefore, the LTC technique is more economical than the LUC and Silver-Meal techniques because it has the smallest total cost.
The purpose of this research is to determine demand forecasting on relay winker products and to determine the aggregate planning of relay winker products that produce minimum costs. The method used in this study is a comparative quantitative method. The data used in conducting aggregate planning are data from forecasting calculations with the chosen method, forecasting is calculated using several methods, namely the Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Quadratic and Linear Regression methods. Select this method by looking for the MAPE value. The method that has the smallest MAPE value is Double exponential Smoothing with a value of 2.7%. Aggregate production planning is carried out for 2017 with the method of transportation (least cost), permanent labor and level strategy. The results of data processing show the best method for aggregate planning is transportation method (least cost) which has the lowest cost of Rp. 9,858,625,445.
Permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu terdapat kerusakan barang selama pengiriman dari gudang ke pelabuhan. Hal ini membuat adanya tambahan waktu dalam pengiriman karena harus adanya retur barang kembali ke gudang untuk mengambil barang baru yang nantinya akan mengganti barang yang sudah rusak. Permasalahan ini bisa terjadi dikarenakan jasa trucking yang digunakan tidak memuat barang sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada. Jasa trucking yang digunakan oleh perusahaan ini terdapat 4 pihak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan usulan perbaikan dari permasalahan dalam pemilihan jasa trucking yang akan digunakan. Pemilihan jasa trucking menggunakan metode SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). Metode ini digunakan untuk mengambil suatu keputusan dimana mencari penjumlahan terbobot dari rating kinerja pada setiap alternatif pada semua atribut. Hasil dari penggunaan metode ini, maka perusahaan dapat menentukan jasa trucking mana yang paling baik dan juga perlu diprioritaskan. Usulan perbaikan lainnya yang diajukan adalah memberikan laporan harian sebagai database jasa trucking, dan pembuatan standard operating procedure dalam melakukan pemilihan jasa trucking sebagai dokumen penunjang dalam pemilihan jasa trucking. Usulan perbaikan yang diajukan ini dapat menjadi perbaikan berkelanjutan bagi PT Yicheng Logistics sehingga dapat menghindari risiko yang tidak diinginkan.
