Title: Mathematics in Architecture: The Concept of Numbers in Roof Structure Construction of Fort None Lopo Fort None is a traditional fortress in which there are traditional buildings of the Dawan people, namely Lopo and Ume Kbubu. One of the Lopo in this area was once burned and has not been rebuilt. This is one of the reasons this study was conducted, to find out the mathematical elements in Lopo construction which can be useful as a design guidelines for other Lopo building construction. This study aims to analyze in depth the concept of configuration of real numbers on the Lopo roof construction in Benteng None, so the method used is qualitative research with ethnographic design. This discussion is carried out by analyzing three construction elements on the Lopo roof, namely: 5 inner circles, 26 outer circles and rectangles on the Lopo roof. So, it can be concluded that some construction elements on the Lopo roof which are mathematically analyzed show the existence of the concept of real number configuration. From this discussion, the results show that there are types of real number configuration, including: Monotonic real numbers descending, finite real numbers, fixed real numbers with fixed differences and real numbers with non-fixed differences.
Props are aids used to ease students understand well the mathematical concepts explained by the teacher. The elementary school level requires real concepts so that in concretizing abstract concepts the teacher should be able to use props to explain the concept. The purposes of the community service are teachers are able to produce props in learning activities and can instill basic concepts so that they are able to solve commonly faced problems in learning activities. The method used is a practical method. This community service was carried out at SD GMIT Koro’oto, Kupang Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Based on the evaluation result of the community service, it shows that teachers participated actively in the activity shown by their responses and interactions. In addition, the teachers felt the importance of this training because they gained a lot of new knowledge in solving every problem in learning activities and were able to produce props that could help explain basic concepts to students.
This Main problem in this research that is about how execution of study model of tutor coeval on sub subjek of rectangular in SMP Negeri 20 Kupang city academic year 2017 / 2018. The purpose this research is to know implementation of learning and the effect of learning model tutor coeval to achievement learn mathematics student’s on sub subjek of rectangular in SMP Negeri 20 Kupang city academic year 2017 / 2018.This research was conducted on VII grade student’s SMP Negeri 20 Kupang city which amounted to 30 students selected randomly from 5 classes available.The instrument used in thes research are observation ,interview and achievement tes learn much as 30 problem item in from of double helix.Data analysis technique used in this research that is result of observation .result of interview,achievement of indicator and t-test. Based on the results of observation , result of interview,achievement of indicators,obtained achievement learn mathematics student are very good. While based on t-test calculation shows t count= 16,417 and the table = 2,045 at significance level 5% which means t count > t table, then Ho rejected Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the use learnig model of tutor coeval.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan model pembelajaran Open-Ended dan pengaruhnya terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa pada sub pokok bahasan segiempat di SMPN Kupang Tengah tahun ajaran2018/2019. Penelitian ini dilakukan oleh siswa kelas VII SMPN Kupang Tengah yang berjumlah 21 orang siswa yang dipilih secara acak dari 4 kelas yang tersedia.Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan tes prestasi belajar matematika siswa sebayak 3 butir soal berbentuk isian.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil observasi,hasil wawancara,pencapaian indikator dan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, hasil wawancara, dan pencapaian indikator, diperoleh prestasi belajar matematika siswa tergolong sangat baik. Sedangkan berdasarkan perhitungan uji-t menunjukan t hitung = 10, 742dan t table = 2,085 pada taraf signifikani 5% yang berarti t hitung > t tabel , Maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada pengunaan model pembelajaran Open-Ended terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa SMP.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode experimental dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh kelas VII disalah satu SMPN di kota Kupang, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIIF yeng berjumlah 30 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan Teknik Simple Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP berupa test Essay yang berjumlah 3 soal. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu data nilai pretest dan data nilai posttest dari kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan penacapaian indikator, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model PMR terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP tergolong sangat baik. Uji t menunjukkan thitung = - 17,576 dan ttabel =- 2,045 pada taraf signifikan 5% yang berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada model pembelajaran matematika realistik terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa SMP.
