Perubahan jaman menuntut peserta didik menjadi lebih aktif dan kreatif. Namun metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan di perguruan tinggi masih menggunakan metode tradisional, yaitu pengajar memiliki peran penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Akibatnya, peserta didik hanya menjadi objek dalam sistem pembelajaran yang membuat mereka menjadi pasif. Peserta didik tidak memiliki inisiatif untuk membangun sendiri pengetahuan mereka karena memang kurangnya kesempatan yang mereka untuk terlibat atau berpartisispasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Active learning adalah model pembelajaran yang dianggap efektif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu cara pengaplikasian model pembelajaran ini adalah dengan menerapkan metode collaborative learning, dimana perspektif dari metode ini adalah seseorang dikatakan belajar apabila orang tersebut terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata kunci: Active Learning, Collaborative Learning Abstract: Increasing Student Participation Through Collaborative Learning. But, learning method that applied in higher education still use traditional method, which is lecturer has an important role in the learning process. As a result, students only become objects in the learning system that makes them passive. They don’t have initiative to build their own knowledge because of the lack of opportunities that they are involved in or participating in the learning process. Active learning is a learning model that is considered effective to increase the activity of the students in the learning process. One way to apply this learning model is to apply collaborative learning method, where the perspective of this method is that someone is said to learn if the person is actively involved in or participates in the learning process. This paper aimed to identify and formulate the labor market demand on works skills for secretary indicated in job advertisements. The study conducted from February to July 2019. The particular research used content analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection used documentation and focused on group discussion. The object of this research was job vacancy information for secretary in mass media and digital media. There were four stages of data analysis in this study. First, organizing and checking data. Second, rechecking data. Third, describing, summarizing, and organizing the coding containing categories that are more specific and distinguished from other categories. Fourth, conducting final analysis in making interpretation and drawing conclusions the research findings. The research discovered that the most needed of hard skill aspects for secretary are English language skill, Ms. Office and computer skill. Furthermore, the most needed of soft skill aspects are communication, attractive, and honest. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis konten dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan focus grup discussion. Objek penelitian ini adalah informasi lowongan pekerjaan untuk calon sekretaris di media cetak dan digital. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: 1) mengorganisasi data dan memeriksa data dengan cermat, 2) melakukan pemeriksaan ulang terhadap data, 3) mendeskripsikan, meringkas, dan mengorganisasi pengodean yang berisi kategori-kategori yang sudah lebih spesifik dan terbedakan dari kategori lain, 4) melakukan analisis terakhir, membuat interpretasi dan kesimpulan akhir berisi hasil temuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) aspek hard skill yang banyak ditemukan untuk calon sekretaris adalah kemampuan bahasa inggris, kemampuan Ms. Office dan keterampilan komputer. (2) aspek soft skill yang banyak ditemukan untuk calon sekretaris adalah keterampilan komunikasi, berpenampilan menarik dan jujur. Kata kunci: Analisis Konten, Keterampilan Pekerja, Sekretaris
The rapid advancement of knowledge and technology has made communication more open. This situation provides an excellent opportunity for anyone to compete internationally. One of the ways to compete at the international level is to master English. This study aims to analyze the effect of internal and external motivation on students' English skills. This study used a different approach by using the lecturer's teaching style as a moderating variable. This research was explanatory using a quantitative approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire and used a Likert scale. The sample of this research was second-year students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Partial Least Square (PLS) was used as a data analysis technique in this study with the help of Smart PLS software. The results showed that students' internal and external motivation influenced English skills. In addition, this study also confirms that lecturers' teaching style has a direct positive effect on English skills. Furthermore, the lecturer's teaching style indirectly moderates the relationship between self-awareness, personal goal setting, and parental expectations. The dual role of this teaching style proves the importance of the role of a lecturer in student success.
Pengelolaan arsip yang baik akan mendorong terciptanya good governance. Transparansi dan akuntabilitas perangkat pemerintahan dicapai melalui arsip yang akurat dan dapat diandalkan sebagai sebuah alat untuk memastikan perlakuan adil bagi masyarakatnya. Akan tetapi, keterampilan pengelolaan arsip menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang jarang dimiliki oleh perangkat pemerintah desa, salah satunya pada Desa Sinduharjo yang berada di Kecamatan Ngaglik, Kabupaten Sleman. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan melaksanakan pelatihan kearsipan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pengelolaan arsip bagi perangkat desa Sinduharjo, Kecamatan Ngaglik, Kabupaten Sleman. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan bentuk kegiatannya menggunakan metode ceramah, pemaparan sistem kearsipan, dan pelatihan pengelolaan arsip fisik. Khalayak sasaran dalam pengabdian ini adalah perangkat desa Sinduharjo Ngaglik Sleman. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan luaran berupa pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta yang semakin baik dibuktikan dengan rata-rata hasil pre test peserta (sebelum pelatihan) adalah 4,3 sedangkan rata-rata hasil post test peserta (setelah pelatihan) adalah 7,35. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan mampu mengatasi segala permasalahan kearsipan yang dialami perangkat desa Sinduharjo, Kecamatan Ngaglik, Kabupaten Sleman.
This study aims to determine the urgency of the human resource information system (HRIS) practicum and to design HRIS as an innovation in human resource management learning. The research was conducted in Yogyakarta Province. This research is development research (Research and Development) with the ADDIE models (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluation). The subjects of this research are lecturers with HR management expertise, lecturers who have taught HR management courses, and students who had taken HR management courses. Data collection techniques used are interviews and focus group discussions.The development procedure used is analyze and design. Based on the analysis stage, it is known that HRIS is necessary and important to be a practicum content in HR management courses. The design or design of the required HRIS includes an employee database, employee attendance, payroll, and performance appraisal.
