Swivel bridge is a special construction method in bridge engineering. It has the characteristics of difficult construction, complex environment and many benefits. The project needs fine management to overcome various problems in traditional construction management mode. Taking Kunchu Expressway over Chengdu-Kunming Railway Bridge as an example, this paper introduces the technical route and technical application points of fine management of construction of turning bridge of Expressway based on BIM technology. The main application points of this paper include: BIM collaboration, BIM collision detection, BIM project management application platform, UAV three-dimensional scene modeling, three-dimensional laser scanning. Practice has proved that BIM technology has incomparable advantages over traditional management mode in finding drawings errors, technical submission, engineering statistics, collision detection, information integration and so on. The implementation of BIM technology has brought enormous technical and economic benefits to project management and has good prospects for promotion.
Since the Turkish Prime Minister Ozal had put forward the basic concept of BOT project in the 1980s. It has become the construction mode favored by governments of most countries, especially in developing country. The BOT mode is mainly applicable to some complex large-scale infrastructure construction projects. In China, with the continuous improvement of economic capacity, the government pays more attention to the construction of infrastructure. But owing to this kind of project’s feature, it will bring a great financial pressure to the Chinese government. So, the BOT mode is the best choice for the government. But as the BOT mode itself involved in multilateral cooperation, even include the foreign partner, and combined with the particularity of the project itself. It has the types of risk is more than conventional projects. Therefore, risk management and control of it is what we need to research and focus on. This paper takes Istanbul Yavuz Sultan Selim (hereinafter referred to as YSS Bridge) Bridge project as an example. The paper based on the basic theory of BOT project and risk management theory, analyzes the whole process of risk management in international BOT mode project, and then analyzes how to take measures to prevent possible risk events in the case of cross-border cooperation.
EPC projects with large engineering and procurement volumes, long construction cycles and management difficulties, the risks faced are also more complex and varied than in other contracting models. This paper establishes a risk index system by documentary method and evaluates and calculates the cost risk in two different environments at home and abroad by hierarchical analysis, so as to find the similarities and differences and propose countermeasures to provide a basis for risk management in China’s EPC contracting model.
