Transformation in the community will take place optimally if all elements of the local community participate actively. In the era of decentralized development starting from the village, welfare of the community can be achieved from the independence of the village by optimizing the utilization of its local potential. The objectives of this paper are 1) identifying the socio-cultural and economic potential of the community as a local power; 2) identifying the local potential of the historic building of Bendungan Lama Pamarayan as an icon and image of the village; and 3) analyzing business capacity development planning in Panyabrangan Village based on the local potential of the historic building of Bendungan Lama Pamarayan. The subjects of this activity are local communities consisting of business unit groups, youth groups, and managers of Bendungan Lama Pamarayan. Data were obtained by interviews, questionnaires, and performance. The analysis was generated through a descriptive analytical approach. It is expected that the development of business capacity based on the historic building of Bendungan Lama Pamarayan to be able to optimally increase creativity and productivity. Every business carried out will have a competitive advantage maximizing the local potential of Bendungan Lama Pamarayan as its business icon. Based on the research results, it is known that local communities have socio-cultural and economic potential which are managed independently by the community. Socio-cultural potential can be seen from the existence of agents, both individuals and groups, who actively carry out socio-cultural activities to develop the local potential of their villages, such as actively introducing tourism and cultural potential through social media, as well as preserving historical buildings in their villages. Economic potential can be seen from the many types of businesses established by local communities, although their management has not been maximized due to various constraints. The existence of the historic building of Bendungan Lama Pamarayan is also interpreted as a local potential that can be developed as an icon and image of the village to prepare the area as a tourist spot. Various local potentials possessed by the people of Panyabrangan Village have not been maximally developed because some of them are constrained in the capacity to develop a competitive business. Therefore, community development efforts in the form of a locality development model with the working method of doing with community are needed.
The purpose of this study is: (1) describing the history of the formation of Dzikir Saman art in Wanagiri Village, Saketi District of Pandeglang Regency, (2) describing the development of Dzikir Saman art in Wanagiri Village, Saketi District, Pandeglang Regency in 1998-2017, (3) describing community efforts in preserving Dzikir Saman art as intangible cultural heritage in Pandeglang. The study uses historical methods consisting of heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The theoretical approaches used are cultural theory and challenge theory and response (response) from Arnold Toynbee. The study took year limits between 1998-2017. In 1998 as the beginning of the development of Dzikir Saman art in Wanagiri Village and in 2017 Dzikir Saman art in Wanagiri Village was named as Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Education. The results of the study revealed that the art of Dzikir Saman in Wanagiri Village began from a teaching of the sammaniyah order. This sammaniyah order is a well-known teaching in Sufi science brought by Syech Samman in the 18th century. Then in the development of Dzikir Saman art in Wanagiri Village experienced the addition of function, which initially this art was only presented in religious ceremonies only on the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's Maulid then saw the rapid development of the times, it became a challenge for the existence of Dzikir Saman art, finally the art of Dzikir Saman was presented also in the form of performing arts, Then in its development also the art of Dzikir Saman Wanagiri Village was named as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2017 by the Ministry of Education. Furthermore, there are preservation efforts carried out by Dzikir Saman art players, Pandeglang community and there is government carrying capacity, so that the existence of Dzikir Saman art continues to grow, these efforts include: (1) Dzikir Saman Wanagiri Village players do training every week even though this art is not staged, (2) pandeglang community always presents Dzikir Saman art in commemoration of Prophet Muhammad's Maulid, Then there is the study of Dzikir Saman art by researchers which is one form of preservation in the field of education, (3) the existence of government carrying capacity is by presenting Dzikir Saman art in a series of Pandeglang cultural festival events.
Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran secara historis perkembangan arsitektur kebudayaan indis di Weltevreden (Nieuw Batavia). Dampak akibat perpindahan dari Oud batavia menuju weltevreden membawa dampak juga dalam berkembangnya kebudayaan Indis di sebagai bagian dari proses akulturasi masyarakat Eropa dan Pribumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode historis yang meliputi tahap heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi literatur terhadap sumber relevan. Fakta historis dan arkeologis yang ditemukan menunjukan bahwa terdapat tinggalan yang menjadi dasar argumentasi mengenai dampak dari perkembangan kebudayaan indis dalam arsitektur dan bangunan.Arsitektur yang dikaji meliputi stadhuis, landhuizen, heerenhuizen, hingga ornamen meubiliar sebagai bagian dari kebutuhan interior di dalam rumah bergaya indis. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan tinggalan kebudayaan Indis berupa arsitektur bangunan tetap dilestarikan sebagai warisan Heritage Kota Jakarta.
This study aims to provide a historical description of the development of education in Weltevreden (Nieuw Batavia) in the early 20th century. After the move from Oud Batavia to Weltevreden, it also had an impact on the development of education as a community need at that time in the new urban planning system. The method used in this study is the historical method which includes the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data collection techniques with literature studies of relevant sources. The historical and archaeological facts found show that there are remains that form the basis of the argument for the development of education in Weltevreden. Starting with the emergence of the Javanese medical school (STOVIA) as a pioneer in education in the health sector. Then continued with the establishment of the law school Rechtshoogeschool (RHS) until the formation of the indigenous elite who were partly members of the Volksraad.
Kajian ini merupakan studi literatur ilmiah mengenai narasi subaltern dalam pembelajaran sejarah di Indonesia. Konsep subaltern sendiri merupakan salah satu konsep dalam paradigma poskolonial sebagai antitesis historiografi “grand narrative”. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mendeskripsikan perkembangan subaltern dalam sejarah nasional dan pendekatannya melalui dialog kritis. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini dengan studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan referensi yang relevan dalam menarik kesimpulan. Hasil kajian mendeskripsikan perkembangan narasi subaltern dalam kurikulum pendidikan sejarah di Indonesia. kajian subaltern hsitory didasarkan atas beragam narasi (multiples narratives) atau sejumlah narasi kecil (small narative) yang bisa dimasukkan dan dikembangkan dalam materi dan pembelajaran sejarah. Urgensi subaltern secara praksis diimplementasikan melalui pedagogi kritis dalam pendidikan sejarah.
