The oral traditions of indigenous communities Angkola mangupa belief to be efforts to restore stamina to the body (paulak tondi tu badan) to seek blessings from Allah, the Almighty God, to be safe, healthy, and prosperous in life. Mangupa levels adjusted corresponding to pangupa materials such as buffalo, goats, chickens, and eggs, then given advice mangupa (hata pangupa; hata upah-upah) submitted by traditional leaders. The analysis results of mangupa found the local knowledge values such as: a) the human relationship with God, b) the meaning of human life, c) the human relationship with the natural surroundings, d) the human relationship with time, e) the behavior to be industrious and enterprising, thrifty, and religious, to get along peacefully with each other; f) the aesthetic value of humility, customary of politeness, g) the expectation that the marriage will be the marriage of a lifetime; h) The value and philosophical significance of indigenous material derived pangupa animals, plants, and derived from nature; i) The bride and groom who have not through a traditional ceremonies (maradat) retains the customary effect throughout the traditional debt to be paid until they have the means.
Damage to the natural environment is a reflection of the disruption of the earth's lungs (forests) as a result of anthropocentric attitudes of humans who exploit excessively. To balance the natural environment so that it is not increasingly damaged, which is to foster human behavior or ethics that care about the environment. This study is entitled Angkola LocalWisdom in Efforts to Love the Environment. The problem to be explored is the Angkola traditional ceremony containing wisdom values in an effort to love the environment. As well as giving a general description of how the role of the Angkola traditional leaders through traditional ceremonies so that the local wisdom of the Angkola custom is known in an effort to love the environment. The method used is a qualitative method with anthropological and phenomenological approaches. The results of this study are: a) The introduction of the plant lexicon early on, b) The use of the plant lexicon as a philosophical character according to the plant lexicon, c) The local wisdom of Angkola's custom in the effort to love the environment is an education of cultural characteristics through the plant lexicon used in the plant lexicon custom.
This data is entitled Facebook's Presupposition “Rizky Billar Had Said He Wanted to Retire from the Entertainment World”. This research is an attempt to identify and analyze the types and meanings of presuppositions on Facebook. The data used in this study are in the form of comments on Facebook. The data are analyzed using the following steps. (1) Read comments on Facebook social media, (2) Mark each word or sentence that contains a form of presupposition, (3) Classify based on the types of presuppositions, (4) Summarize the data that has been presented carefully. Facebook data contains comments as many as 24 comments. In this research, the author uses a descriptive method that analyzes based on the theory of George Yule (1996) there are six types of presuppositions. The results of the study concluded that there are six types of presuppositions in Facebook social media, namely: existential presuppositions, active presuppositions, lexical presuppositions, structural presuppositions, inactive presuppositions, and counteractive presuppositions.
One form of information and communication media that is very popular at this time is YouTube. This media can be used as a place to share videos with one another, be it videos that provide educational content, tutorials, up-to-date information, or documentary videos of one's personal life. Therefore, the forms of speech contained in YouTube are very diverse. With the various forms of speech contained on YouTube, there are also forms of politeness in speaking. Language politeness according to Geoffrey Leech, namely Geoffrey Leech divides the principles of politeness into six maxims, namely; tact maxim, generosity maxim, appreciation maxim ( approbation maxim), modesty maxim, and sympathy maxim. The author conducted this analysis with the aim of describing language politeness in the comments contained on the Tvonenews YouTube channel entitled Drama Lesti Billar's Domestic Violence Case. The data source in this study is the Tvonenews YouTube channel titled Lesti Billar's Domestic Violence Case Drama which has a video duration of 5 minutes 48 seconds, and was published on October 25 2022. Data analysis was carried out using the politeness maxim. In this analysis it was found that there were five of the six maxims of politeness in Leech's language on the Tvonenews YouTube channel entitled Drama of the Lesti Billar Domestic Violence Case from the 25 data there were 20 data included in the 5 maxims, namely: 4 tact maxims, 2 generosity maxims (generosity maxim), 4 approbation maxims, 3 modesty maxims, and 7 sympathy maxims.
