Computer modeling of the thermal behavior of a thin-walled part made of austenitic 316L stainless steel, grown by coaxial laser melting with variable and constant laser power, has been simulated. The conducted work was aimed at investigating the effect of the number of weld deposit layers and studying the influence of bending radius in heat patterns of the growing zone, taking into account a molten pool volume.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
