The motif behind any marriage and relationship built between couples take a big part in its sustainability. This paper is going to describe the motif and relationship between disabled couples in Kudus. All the informants in this research are people with disability which bounded in marital contract. Through qualitative design, this research finds that: 1. The motif behind marriage between disabled couples is the sameness of disability they anguish. 2. The relationship between disabled couples built on a good cooperation and communication. On the other hand, the data found in mixed marriage (between disabled person and normal person) shows that: 1. The motif behind this marriage is to get the better life where disabled person marry normal person. 2. Good relationship found in disabled man-normal woman marriage while bad relationship found in disabled woman-normal man marriage which leads to divorce.
EVALUATION OF TEACHING ARABIC LANGUAGE IN STAIN KUDUS (An attempt to find the Ideal form of Teaching the Arabic language). Evaluation in teaching process is absolutely necessary to see the extent of success regarding the goal of this process. Teaching process of Arabic language in STAIN Kudus also need to be evaluated and assessed. This study attempts to evaluate the teaching process of Arabic language in STAIN Kudus, primarily in the seven essential elements in the teaching process; input (students), material (curriculum), lecturer, methods (educational interaction), the teaching-learning infrastructure, the human environment and non-human environment. Through a qualitative approach with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation, the results of this study are: 1. The diversity of student backgrounds leads to the lack of Arabic language teaching achievement, it can solved with alternative classes i.e. matriculation classes by grouping students based on their basic proficiency in Arabic language. 2. Other problems that need serious attention related to the curriculum, especially the efforts to accommodate the field of scientific study program. 3. Other elements related to the teacher, teaching method, infrastructure and the environment found that these elements are sufficient to support the teaching process of Arabic language in Kudus STAIN.
The worsening condition of nature calls the critical attention of human beings to look for primary keys to deal with. Struggling with the same issue, the local government of Kudus promotes community-based development programs that concern with introducing environmental conservation and education, besides cultural understanding programs, which emphasizes local community awareness in environmentally friendly tourism hosting and management. The youth community is invited to join workshops and training to enrich the skills in some handy craft production, networking and society management, particularly related to batik. “Komunitas Batik Manjing Werni” (KBMW) is one of the community-based development centers that concerns in promoting a unique batik motif. This article aims to describe the role of female crafters of natural motif batik in batik conservation on Muria slope. The main objective is to identify how these female crafters in KBMW contribute to build public awareness around Muria slope conservation through religious teachings and education. The data in this descriptive-qualitative research were obtained through observation, documentation and interviews with key persons in KBMW, people living around KBMW and Kudus regency tourism office.
LIPI Press berkolaborasi dengan Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) Dunia menerbitkan rangkaian buku seri Indonesia Emas Berkelanjutan 2045: Kumpulan Pemikiran Pelajar Indonesia Sedunia. Rangkaian bunga rampai ini terdiri dari 12 buku dengan sejumlah topik yang mendukung Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) untuk mencapai tujuan Indonesia Emas 2045. Buku ini merupakan seri kedua dari rangkaian tersebut. Dari 17 target SDGs yang ada, beberapa yang dianggap erat dengan budaya terletak pada target 5 dan 11, berisikan isu-isu mengenai gender dan perlindungan anak, serta kota dan permukiman yang aman dan inklusif. Selain itu, Seri Kebudayaan ini menekankan pada aspek budaya yang sering kali terpinggirkan dalam narasi-narasi mengenai negara maju. Para penulis menggali tradisi lokal, pemahaman budaya, dan warisan alam (dan budaya) yang ada di Indonesia. Selanjutnya, hal tersebut dikaitkan dengan wacana mengenai pembangunan. Walaupun pembahasan dituliskan dalam sejumlah bab yang terpisah dan dengan topik yang berbeda, sejatinya para penulis melakukan diskusi besar mengenai keterkaitan dan peran penting aspek kultural dalam diskursus dan wacana soal pembangunan. Buku ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bacaan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya para pemangku kepentingan di bidang pembangunan. Temukan beragam sudut pandang serta sumbangsih pemikiran dari perwakilan pelajar Indonesia di seluruh dunia terkait kekayaan khazanah kebudayaan Indonesia yang berkelanjutan. Selamat membaca!
