The purpose of science and technology activities for the Society (IbM) is to solve problems in the school library by providing understanding and management of libraries to library officer or teachers placed in the library to be able to manage the school library based on information technology in accordance with established standards. In this activity, it will solve the problem completely from conceptual understanding and conducting school library management practices based on information technology with the implementation of library automation system using Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) and socialization of information literacy in the school library.The method offered to solve the problem of school library management based on information technology is the training is used lecturing method, question and answer, group discussion, and practice. Then this is followed by information socialization activities information technology-based information for all school members. Training activities accomplished properly according to the expected objectives of the program. This activity received a positive response from various parties and trainees can apply the use of SLiMS software in school library management. From the socialization activities for information literacy performed by involving all elements schools can increase their citizens' understanding of various sources of information that can be utilized. So hopefully the school library can provide better service and the existence of school libraries will contribute significantly to the society. Dalam kegiatan ini, akan menyelesaikan masalah sepenuhnya dari pemahaman konseptual dan pelaksanaan praktik pengelolaan perpustakaan berbasis teknologi informasi dengan penerapan sistem otomasi perpustakaan dengan menggunakan Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) dan sosialisasi literasi informasi di perpustakaan sekolah. Metode ditawarkan untuk memecahkan masalah pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah berbasis teknologi informasi yaitu pelatihan digunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi kelompok, dan praktik. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan sosialisasi informasi berbasis teknologi informasi untuk semua anggota sekolah. This study aims to (1) describe the structure of the report text observation of the work of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan (2) illustrates the linguistic characteristics of the observation report text by class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan. The results of this study are as follows. First, in writing the report text of observations of Grade VII students of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan, they have used the three text structures of the observation report results. The structure of the report's observational text is a general definition, section description, and description of benefits. This is evident from the 20 observational report texts that have been analyzed throughout the observation report text of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan complete using general definitions, section descriptions, and benefits descriptions. Second, in writing the report text of observations generally in class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan have used the four text structures of the observation report. The Fourth linguistic characteristics of the text of the observation report are repetition, pronoun, conjunction, and description sentences. This is evident from the 20 text reports on observations that have been analyzed, there are 16 text reports on observations that are complete using the linguistic characteristics of repetition, pronouns, conjunctions, and sentence definitions. Wandering for Minangkabaunese people is to go away from their hometown to gain experience. After having successful, they have to return to their hometown in order to develop it and lift the dignity of their family and people. However, due to the current development, the goals of wandering has changed. The goals are not to: 1) because of the matrilineal system where men do not get inheritance property rights, only the right of managing. 2) Continuing the success of previous nomads and natural conditions. 3) Adding Life Experience (educational factors) 4) Improving the economic and social status of families and people, 5) marantau cino. All of these forms and reasons for wandering, each of which has its own philosophy for the people of Minangkabau which is conveyed through poems.
The purpose of this study was to describe the language and spelling characteristics in the explanatory text of class XI students of SMA 1 Payakumbuh. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection is done through documentation studies. The subjects in this study were class XI students of SMA 1 Payakumbuh. The stage of analyzing the data in this study is as follows. First, identify common elements of data. Second, identifying data based on the theory that is a reference. Data identification is done by making a format for identifying linguistic characteristics and explanatory text spelling. Third, analyze data. Fourth, interpret the data that has been analyzed. Fifth, conclude the results of the data description by writing a report. The results of this study are that there are 22 students who have not used the language characteristics of the explanatory text and 8 students have used the explanatory text language characteristics. The linguistic characteristics found in this study are 3, namely, information on time, chronological conjunction and causality conjunction. The time was found as many as 53 pieces, 15 chronological conjunctions and 54 causality conjunctions. In addition, many found errors in the use of spelling in the form of capital letters, periods and commas. The error of using capital letters has 28 errors, 15 misuse of the dot and 158 errors in the use of commas from 810 sentences and 178 paragraphs. Kata kunci : Ciri Kebahasaan, Ejaan, Teks Eksplanasi
This article was written to describe the correlation of reading comprehension and writing a exposition text seventh grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Padang. Tipe of this research is quantitative research with descriptive method and used a correlational research schema. The population and sample of this research is the seventh grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Padang in the year of 2019/2020. The sample of this research is 40 students. The sampling technique used is random sampling. From this research, it can be concluded that there is significant correlation between reading comprehention with writing exposition text seventh grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Padang by freedom degree n-1 with significants rate 95% and tobservation is bigger than ttabel that is 3,78 > 1,68. It means, the students who have a higher ability in reading comprehension so they also have a good ability in write a exposition text. In contrast, if their ability in reading comprehension is low, their ability in write a exposition text is too low. Kata Kunci: Hubungan, Keterampilan, Membaca, Menulis, Teks Eksposisi
