Aplikasi pemodelan spasial ekonometrika dalam berbagai bidang ilmu semakin banyak khususnya dalam ruang lingkup spasial regional dan spasial epidemiologi. Metode ini berkembang karena kemampuan metode ini mengakomodasi adanya ketergantungan spasial dalam data. Analisis ekonometrik biasa tidak mampu memberikan hasil yang baik pada saat data tidak berdistribusi independen. Metode Maksimum likelihood adalah metode yang umumnya digunakan untuk menaksir parameter model spasial econometrics. Namun metode ini tidak cukup baik dalam mengestimasi parameter model pada saat unit spasialnya sangat banyak. Metode alternative Bayesian diperkenalkan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini mengkaji pendekatan metode Bayesian pada model Spasial Autoregresive (SAR). Model SAR merupakan satu dari delapan model spasial ecokometrik yang paling banyak digunakan. Pendekatan Bayesian akan diaplikasikan pada pemodelan kasus TB Paru di Kota Bandung
Betung bamboo has a bigger stem diameter, thicker walls, and shorter internodes than other species of bamboo, making it ideal for building materials such as bridges and interior furnishings that may also be turned into works of art. Alkaline NaOH treatment was introduced to Betung bamboo to increase its mechanical properties. The alkaline treatment used a solution consisting of 5 %NaOH. Specimens with alkaline treatment were immersed into 5%NaOH solution for one hour, two hours, and three hours, followed by two hours of drying in a furnace at 60 °C. Tensile tests (ASTM D638) and flexural tests (ASTM D790) were carried out using servo hydraulics MTS Landmark 100 kN under static loading. The tensile strength, modulus of rupture (MOR) and modulus of elasticity (MOE) were analyzed from the results tests. The average maximum tensile strength of the Betung bamboo internode immersed for two hours into 5%NaOH solution is about 195.95 MPa, whereas the average values of MOR and MOE are about 207.35 MPa and 4.56 GPa, respectively. The faults and surface conditions in the Betung bamboo internode were observed using fractographic and morphological observations.
Rainfall is time series data that has seasonal pattern, usually period 12. The pattern of rainfall seasonal itself often changes. In this paper, the pattern of rainfall will identify by Periodogram Analysis. We use Time series data from one of city in west Java province. By this analysis, it is proved that the pattern of rainfall has been change. Computation itself, we use macro of Open Source Software R (OSSR).
Annually, million tons of fly-ash and bottom fly-ash is a waste of coal power plant. Fly ash contains Iron-oxide, alumina and silica. Those hard particle makes fly-ash can be used as a reinforcement in polymer composite. This composite is a wear resistance material and can be used as material for brake lining application. Fly ash reinforced phenolic composite has a low specific abrasion. The composite for brake lining material consisted of the reinforcement, friction modifier, solid lubricant and filler. Graphite is used as solid lubricant while barite is used as filler. Many research were carried out research on the particle size effect on the composite mechanical properties. However the size different between the constituent in composite has not investigated. Also the optimal barite weight fraction has not being observed. The composite was made by mixing all of the constituent, pressing in the mold and curing. The result show that the graphite particle size ? 150 mm has the lowest specific abrasion. The observation using scanning electron microscope shows that the composite contained small particle of ? 56 mm tends to agglomerate than the composite contained larger particle of ? 150 mm. the composite contained 15% barite has the lowest specific abrasion. The micrograph of scanning electron microscope shows the mixed of phenolic and barite evenly covered the graphite and fly-ash particles.
