AbstrakMasalah gizi memiliki dimensi yang luas apabila konsumsi gizi pada balita tidak seimbang maka akan berakibat terjadinya permasalahan status gizi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan perilaku gizi seimbang pada keluarga dengan status gizi pada anak balita usia 2-5 tahun. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mixed method, dimana kualitatif dengan model sequential explanatory, dan kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross sectional. Metode analisis menggunakan Chi-Square yang digunakan untuk menganalisis model pengujian Univariat dan Bivariat. Populasi yaitu seluruh balita yang berada di Wilayah Kerja UPT Puskesmas Idi Rayeuk sebanyak 2209 orang balita dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 responden.Wawancara dilakukan terhadap 5 informan dengan menggunakan instrumen indep interview. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status gizi balita mayoritas normal (61,4%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara perilaku gizi seimbang yang meliputi pengetahuan (Pv= 0,000), sikap (Pv=0,033) dan tindakan gizi seimbang (Pv=0,000) dengan status gizi balita usia 2-5 tahun. Berdasarkan penelitian kualitatif diperoleh informasi bahwa masalah gizi pada balita juga dipengaruhi oleh sosial ekonomi keluarga, pola asuh yang salah serta kebiasaan (budaya) masyarakat. AbstractNutrition problems have broad dimensions if nutritional consumption in infants is not balanced, it will result in nutritional status problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of balanced nutritional behavior in families with nutritional status in children aged 2-5 years. The research design used in this study is a mixed method, where qualitative with a sequential explanatory model, and quantitative with a cross sectional design. The analysis method uses Chi-Square which is used to analyze the Univariate and Bivariate testing models. The population is all toddlers in the UPT Idi Rayeuk Puskesmas working area with 2209 toddlers and a total sample of 96 respondents. Interviews were conducted with 5 informants using the indep interview instrument. The results showed that the nutritional status of children under five was normal (61.4%). The results of bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between balanced nutritional behavior which included knowledge (Pv = 0,000), attitude (Pv = 0.033) and balanced nutrition actions (Pv = 0,000) with the nutritional status of toddlers aged 2-5 years. Based on qualitative research, information is obtained that nutrition problems in toddlers are also influenced by socioeconomic families, wrong parenting and community (cultural) habits.
Salah satu permasalahan rendahnya cakupan ASI Eksklusif adalah masih tingginya angka ibu usia remaja yang rentan belum memiliki kesiapan fisik, mental dan pengetahuan untuk melahirkan dan menyusui. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan desain cross sectional studi yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis factor predisposisi dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif ibu usia remaja pada bayi di Kecamatan Luahagundre Maniamolo Kabupaten Nias Selatan tahun 2019. Populasi adalah seluruh ibu usia remaja yang memiliki bayi usia 6-12 bulan di Kecamatan Luahagundre Maniamolo Kabupaten Nias Selatan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara total sampel sebanyak 96 ibu usia remaja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 20,8 % ibu usia remaja memberikan ASI Eksklusif di Kecamatan Luahagundre Maniamolo. Hasil uji chi square menunjukkan variabel pengetahuan (p=0,004), sikap (p=0,001), keyakinan (p=0,001), dukungan tenaga kesehatan (p=0,001), dukungan suami / keluarga (p=0,001), dan pengaruh media sosial (p=0,001) yang berarti seluruh variabel mempunyai hubungan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif ibu usia remaja pada bayi. Hasil uji regresi logistik berganda menunjukkan variabel keyakinan paling berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif ibu remaja pada bayi. Kesimpulan di peroleh bahwa factor predisposisi berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi.
Snakehead fish has high content of zinc and albumin, it can be given to people with immune disorder. Snakehead fish can be made into various kind of food product that are high in nutrients, have aestetic value, and taste like nugget. The effectiveness of zinc and albumin function can work optimally when the consumption is combined with food ingredient that are high in bioactive substances such as lycopene, anthocyanin, flavonoid, karetonoid, bromelain, papain and quercetin. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectof snakehead nugget administration and colored fruit juices simultaneously on clinical manifestation, BMI, TLC, albumin and CD4 value in PLHIV at HIV/AIDS Rehabilitation Center in Medan. The design of research was quasy experimental with pre and post test design. The subjects was 40 people who lived at HIV/AIDS Rehabilitation Center in Medan and given snackhead fish nugget and colored fruit juice for 24 days. The data analysis used dependent T-test, after data normality test had previously been carried out. There was effect before and after administration of snakehead fish nuggets and colored fruit juice on clinical manifestation, BMI, TLC and CD4 levels with p value <0.05. It is necessary to provide treatment in longer term as preventive measure for the emergence of various clinical manifestations as well as to increase BMI, TLC, albumin and CD4 in PLHIV at HIV/AIDS Rehabilitation Center in Medan.
Pregnancy is the growth and development of the intrauterine fetus starting from conception and ending until the onset of labor. Nausea and vomiting (emesis gravidarum) is a problem that is often experienced by pregnant women in early pregnancy. To determine the effect of giving ginger decoction and lemon inhalation therapy to the incidence of emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women in the working area of the Marancar Health Center, Kaupaten Tapanuli Seatan in 2021. Methods: The research design used a quasi-experimental approach with a two group pre and post test design approach. The population and sample in the study were 30 people. The data were processed by univariate and bivariate analysis using paired sample t-test and independent t-test. Results : There is an effect of giving ginger stew on reducing the incidence ofadianemesis gravidarumandthere isthe effect of giving lemon inhalation aromatherapy to decreaseadianemesis gravidarum. Giving ginger decoction is more effective than giving lemon inhalation in dealing with the decrease in the incidence of nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women in the Marancar Health Center Work Area in 2021. It is hoped that the results of this study can improve services in the health sector, especially in providing information about the effect of giving boiled ginger and aromatherapy lemon inhalation against canceradianemesis gravidarumin first trimester pregnant women.
The phenomenon of cases of malnourished toddler is similar to an iceberg, with fewer cases appearing. But in fact there are still many cases of malnourished toddlers who have not been maximally revealed. Not to mention the old cases that have been recorded but experiencing drop outs from monitoring, handling and further recording of officers. This figure is estimated to be the same as the number of cases that have not been recorded at all. This study aims to determine the phenomenon of cases of malnutrition in the working area of Puskesmas Peusangan. The design of this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted in the Puskesmas Peusangan in 2018. There were 12 research subjects, including mothers of toddlers, cadres, PKK members, village heads, nutritionists, head of Puskesmas, health promotion officers, village midwives, nurses and doctors. The results showed that the phenomenon of malnutrition cases in Puskesma Peusangan was influenced by parental knowledge, parental education, parenting parents and family income. As conclusion, the phenomenon of malnutrition in the Puskesma Peusangan work area is caused by knowledge, education, parenting and family income. It is recommended that health workers motivate mothers of toddlers to bring their toddlers to the posyandu every month on a regular basis
