Use of LLLT for 42 patients with an autoimm.une thyroiditis has shown that the helper function of lymphocytes has decreased, the suppressive activity has increased, the quantity of B-lymphocytes has decreased and the immunoregulative index (Th/T) has been. normalised. The effect of LLLT application was active about 4 months in 78 % ofthe patients. Soft semiconductor laser was used. The radiation was in the infrared range of spectrum, wavelength -890 rim. The technique included cutaneous irradiation of the thymus projection zones (breast area at a level of the second edge), vascular junction (left alary area) and thyroid gland. The total doze bas made 2.42 J/cm2.
