Enterprises are in constant search for additional sources of financing their activities and increasing the liquidity of their balance. One of these methods is the classification of non-current assets as held for sale, which causes changes in the structure of assets of the company, affects its liquidity and solvency. At the same time, users of information should be sure of the reality of such operations for the classification of non-current assets. It is important to avoid manipulating balance sheets and artificially enhancing their liquidity by changing the structure of assets. The results of a study of the impact of operations on classification of non-current assets as held for sale on the liquidity of the company's balance sheet are presented in this article. The impact of non-current assets held for sale on liquidity is shown separately provided that they are included in the groups of fast-selling assets and slow-selling assets. The impact of such groupings on the liquidity indicators is shown by means of coefficient analysis. The nature and level of the impact of non-current assets held for sale on the liquidity of the balance sheet is identified by modelling a consistent change in their volume relative to the value of non-current assets and capital of the company. For the purpose of effective asset management, the optimal indicator of non-current assets held for sale in the company's balance sheet has been proposed, which avoids the risk of lowering the productivity of the existing equipment while ensuring the release of financial resources due to the sale of assets.
Implementation of business processes in Ukraine has become more structured in recent years. If previously the only goal was to get the most profitable investment and pay-off in the short term, and the attention to drawbacks and considerable riskiness of these projects was given already in case of their occurrence, now there is another management approach. Thus, the decision to attract additional funds involves a detailed analysis of the potential and existing risks of the project. The management focuses on continuous monitoring of the project implementation. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop an effective mechanism to evaluate an investment project, the effectiveness of its implementation, but from the perspective of the company’s economic security aimed at identifying and diversifying risks. As such, the accounting system of the enterprise’s economic safety management is presented as to the investment projects execution based on the convergence of budgeting, management, financial accounting and elements of the economic analysis and control. The proposed system of investment project management is based on the definition of responsibility centers during the investment project implementation. The developed plan of actions and methods is aimed at creating effective tools for identifying risk factors and monitoring the investment projects effectiveness. Such a system provides an opportunity to operate an investment project promptly and flexibly, following clearly defined management tasks within the chosen strategy of enterprise’s economic security. System management of investment project, which is a part of the overall business management, contributes to the achievement of goals set by the company at a given level of risks and financial performance.
In business and scientific literature, empathy (i.e. the ability to accept different perspectives, put oneself in another person's place, and develop interpersonal relations) occupies an important place. However, there is a risk that, in negotiations, the ability to induce the counterparty to accept the prospect, i.e. the display of empathy, is no less critical for success. External pressure and aggression cause psychological resistance. Sometimes such resistance takes on grotesque forms, forcing people to commit actions that directly contradict their interests to demonstrate their independence. The study's novelty stems from the fact that negotiations in work as an entrepreneur depend on empathic ability. The authors show that empathy training and upgrading can improve the quality and success of negotiations, leading to concluded contracts and, consequently, to better business performance. The work has established that entrepreneurial empathy in professional activities contributes to the development of secondary socioeconomic indicators of the environment and society. The study's practical significance is determined by the structure of the creation of an empathic component in the practical activities of business structures in the context of overcoming crisis phenomena in the economy.
