A Perspectiva Da Formação Humana Integral De Paulo Freire E Suas Contribuições Para a Educação De Jovens E Adultos

Abstract

RESUMOO presente artigo analisa as contribuições do pensamento freireano para a formação humana integral na modalidade da Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA do ser humano como sujeito em constante formação, que se ressignifica a partir das experiências educacionais escolares e não escolares vivenciadas em uma dinâmica dialógica. É nessa dinâmica dialógica que Freire entende a educação de jovens e adultos como mecanismo da promoção da formação humana integral dos seus sujeitos, cujas experiências refletidas promovem mais que uma adaptação do homem ao meio, atribuindo a ele a capacidade de modificar a sua realidade. Assim, este trabalho conclui afirmando que não se pode pensar em formação na educação de jovens e adultos desarticulada das concepções freireanas de formar pessoas críticas num modelo de educação que se constitui mais eficaz quanto mais se distanciar do modelo bancário, entendendo o sujeito educando em toda a sua completude.
