Objective: Developing a mobile application for the teaching of the International Classification for Nursing Practice. Methods: Methodological applied research for technological production, performed in three phases of the contextualized instructional design model: analysis, design and development. Results: The application has an initial screen, which provides information about the team and its purpose. Then, four moblets are listed, including presentation, user's guide consisting of five modules, educational games and five clinical cases. The references on which the application was based are also presented. Final considerations: It was possible to develop an application with the potential to promote the knowledge of nursing students and professionals about this classification system. RESUMOObjetivo: Desenvolver um aplicativo móvel para o ensino da Classificação Internacional para a Prática de Enfermagem. Métodos: Estudo metodológico aplicado, de produção tecnológica, realizado em três fases do modelo de design instrucional contextualizado: análise, design e desenvolvimento. Resultados: O aplicativo possui uma tela inicial, na qual são fornecidas informações sobre a equipe e o tópico de ajuda. Em seguida, são listados quatro moblets, que versam sobre apresentação, guia do usuário constituído por cinco módulos, jogos educativos e cinco casos clínicos. Também são dispostas as referências utilizadas para a construção do aplicativo. Considerações finais: Foi possível desenvolver o aplicativo com potencial para impulsionar estudantes e profissionais de enfermagem a ter um melhor conhecimento sobre o referido sistema de classificação. Resultados: La aplicación tiene una pantalla de bienvenida, en que brinda información sobre el personal y el tema de auxilio. A continuación, se enumeran cuatro moblets, que versan sobre la presentación, el guía del usuario constituido por cinco módulos, juegos educativos y cinco casos clínicos. También se encuentran las referencias utilizadas en la elaboración de la aplicación. Consideraciones finales: Fue posible desarrollar la aplicación con potencial para impulsar a estudiantes y a profesionales de enfermería que conozcan mejor dicho sistema de clasificación.

The labor market in gerontological nursing in Brazil

Objective: to analyze the development of the labor market in Gerontological Nursing in Brazil, between 1970 and 1996. Method: a descriptive-qualitative study with a historical approach that uses the oral history of 14 research nurses working in the historical period, based on the ideas of Eliot Freidson. Results: Nursing overcame barriers to change the care practices to elderly people in the period described, considering the lack of a specific labor market; the need for theoretical knowledge for Gerontology care; the scarcity of research and researchers in the field; the emergence of caregivers for elderly people; the construction of multidisciplinarity and the transformation of institutions for a long-term stay. Final considerations: the expansion of the labor market at the time was grounded on advances on the production of knowledge of the aging process, supported by the demographic transition, that determined the increase in the demand by elderly people for health services and the enactment of specific laws protecting this population.

Integrative Review Debriefing methods and techniques used in nursing simulationMétodos e técnicas de debriefing utilizados em simulação na enfermagem Métodos y técnicas de debriefing utilizadas en la simulación de enfermería ABSTRACT Objective: To identify in the literature methods and techniques of debriefing used in teaching and learning in nursing simulation. Methods: Integrative review of PubMed/MEDLINE®, LILACS, Scopus and CINAHL® databases, with the descriptors "nursing", "nursing education", respective terms in English and Spanish, and the keyword "debriefing". Twelve primary studies, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, from January 2008 to December 2018 were included. Qualitative analysis was used to categorize the domains. Results:The identified meaningful learning methods were based on principles of transfer of learning; model of clinical reasoning, interprofessional, with good judgment and structured and self-debriefing techniques, oral, eye-tracking, video-assisted and written debriefing. Conclusions:The structured method and the oral technique with video were outstanding. One method was not superior to the other but effective for a particular proposal. No national studies have been found. Research should be conducted on the effectiveness of nursing debriefing methods and techniques.Objetivo: Identificar na literatura métodos e técnicas de debriefing utilizados no processo de ensino e aprendizagem na simulação em enfermagem. Métodos:Revisão integrativa, nas bases de dados PubMed/MEDLINE®, LILACS, Scopus e CINAHL®, com os descritores "enfermagem", "educação em enfermagem", respectivos termos em inglês e espanhol e a palavra chave "debriefing" Incluíram-se 12 estudos primários, nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol, de janeiro de 2008 a dezembro de 2018. Utilizou-se análise qualitativa para categorização dos domínios. Resultados: Identificaram-se os métodos de debriefing Meaningful Learning; based on principles of transfer of learning; model of clinical reasoning, interprofissional, com bom julgamento e estruturado, e técnicas self-debriefing; oral; Eye-Tracking; videoassistido e written debriefing.Conclusões: Sobressaíram-se o método estruturado e a técnica oral com vídeo. Um método não foi superior ao outro, mas eficaz para determinada proposta. Não foram encontrados estudos nacionais.
