And the winner is…. The male academy oder: Die ungleichen Auswirkungen universitärer Prekarität

Abstract: Der vorliegende Essay beleuchtet die ungleichen Auswirkungen von prekären Arbeitsbedingungen an deutschen Universitäten. Dabei vertreten wir die These, dass diese ganz unmittelbar zur Reproduktion sozialer Ungleichheit innerhalb des wissenschaftlichen Feldes beitragen, insofern Frauen und andere Menschen, die weniger privilegiert sind als weiße Cis-Männer mit bildungsbürgerlichem Hintergrund, die akademische Laufbahn in der PostDoc-Phase eher verlassen.
