Application of dispersive liquid—liquid microextraction for the analysis of organophosphorus pesticides in Hawthorn (Crataegus pinnatifida var. major) juice samples

Abstract: Summary. Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) coupled with gas chromatography equipped with flame photometric detection (GC-FPD) is introduced to extract and determine the fifteen organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) in hawthorn (Crataegus pinnatifida var. major) juice samples. Some parameters affecting the DLLME efficiency, such as the type and volume of extraction and dispersive solvents, extraction time, and salt concentration, were studied and optimized. The optimized extraction and dispersive so… Show more

“…It is extremely toxic to a wide range of nontarget aquatic organisms [ 2 ]. Additionally, the consumer’s health risk is a concern due to presence of residues in fruits and vegetables [ 3 , 4 ], the environment [ 5 , 6 ], and all of the agricultural products [ 7 , 8 , 9 ]. This is possible because farmers use high volumes of chlorpyrifos, and thus it has a chance to be detected in many samples and agricultural production in general.…”
