“…Risk factors for the development of IHs include prematurity, multiple parity, advanced maternal age , placental anomalies, and possibly chorionic villus sampling ; these risk factors are more prevalent in infants with multiple IHs . Several case reports suggest a link between placental chorangiomas and MIHs .
