The development of information technology rapidly has an impact on the changing paradigm of education. On the other hand, education holds an important responsibility to create students who have a good and strong character. This research aims to: 1) describe the concept and framework of interactive multimedia courseware; 2) test the feasibility of interactive multimedia courseware by experts and practitioners; 3) test student responses to the use of interactive multimedia courseware. This research and development involved experts, teachers, and students. The data were collected using expert validation sheets, teacher questionnaires, and student questionnaires. They were then analyzed using the descriptive statistics analysis based on mean and percentage. This research yielded interactive multimedia courseware called IMONEC (Interactive Multimedia courseware integrated with Bandura's Observational learning model and National historical Event to strengthen students' Character) that integrates three important components: the principles of interactive multimedia learning; Bandura's observational learning model; and the noble values and messages of national historical events to strengthen students' characters. The framework of the interactive multimedia courseware consists of the title, user instruction, home, core competency and basic competency, concept map of material, learning material, and quizzes. The results of the expert validation, teacher questionnaire, and student questionnaire showed that the interactive multimedia courseware is feasible for use in learning and effective in strengthening students' characters.

Purpose of the study: The aim of this study to shape Indonesian people who are moral, form Indonesian people who are intelligent and rational, form innovative people who like to work hard, are optimistic and trustworthy, and have a patriot spirit. Methodology: This research was conducted using a survey method in elementary school teachers, both public and private schools, throughout the Wonogiri district. There were 25 teachers involved in this research. The instrument used was a character education questionnaire, which was adopted from 18 values in the nation's character education. The questions used consisted of four indicators, including teaching materials, the use of multimedia, character education in learning, and the integration of character education in multimedia learning. Main Findings: The results showed that multimedia learning used by teachers had not integrated the values of Pancasila. While the results of character education analysis, to show that some character values have been applied in learning. Applications of this study: The implication of the research results can be utilized for further research, in the context of strengthening character education is an educational policy whose main purpose is to implement the Nawacita of President JokoWidodo - JusufKalla in the national education system. Novelty/Originality of this study: The study of the Value of Character Education in thematic learning is one of the innovations that is being developed theoretically so that multimedia will be created that will strengthen the value of character education. Character values that have not been maximally implemented are creative values, national spirit, discipline, and an attitude of respect for achievement.

Indonesia merupakan sebuah negara yang masih rentan akan adanya konflik akibat perbedaan. Dimana dalam mengatasi hal ini, maka setiap warga negaranya haruslah mengerti mengenai fungsi sebagai warga negara termasuk mengerti upaya bela negara yang harus dimiliki. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan sedini mungkin melalui Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan melalui sektor pendidikan formal. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari bagaimana Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan yang diterapkan di lingkungan sekolah dasar dapat menumbuhkan sikap bela negara bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif analitik untuk membahas permasalahan yang ada. Data sekunder didapatkan dari sumber buku, jurnal, dan juga situs online resmi yang kemudian disajikan untuk menunjang analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada dasarnya Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memiliki kompetensi dan kurikulum dalam bentuk tujuan yang harus dipenuhi yaitu untuk menumbuhkan rasa nasionalisme, pemahaman mengenai hak dan kewajiban warga negara, nilai dan moral, serta upaya implementasi bela negara itu sendiri. Upaya bela negara yang termasuk kedalam karakter nasionalisme dapat dipupuk dan diajarkan kepada siswa sekolah dasar dengan cara baik kognitif melalui pembelajaran di kelas, afektif dengan mengajarkan dan mencontohkan, maupun gabungan keduanya dengan membuat pembelajaran kreatif dan menyenangkan
