“…As an exception, a dual study programme in vocational tertiary education (BTS en Alternance) was introduced where students attend school two days and work three days a week for an employer who finances their training costs. These students have much easier time finding jobs when they graduate, often staying with the same employer (Bidart and Pellissier 2002). Yet, this practice remains limited compared to the Netherlands, especially among descendants of migrants, who had difficulty accessing these selective programmes (Steichen 2013).…”

Responsable d'édition : François Lapeyronie Plan de l'ouvrageNous consacrerons cette introduction générale, composée de deux chapitres, au cadrage de l'objet de recherche et à la méthodologie que nous avons privilégiée pour le traiter empiriquement.Le chapitre 1 sera consacré à la revue de la littérature sur la notion de l'insertion. Nous montrerons d'abord que la polysémie conceptuelle de Au chapitre 5, nous nous intéresserons aux parcours « second métier ». Ils concernent notamment la carrière d'individus qui choisissent l'enseignement après avoir exercé une ou plusieurs professions. Nous avancerons que leur réorientation professionnelle est structurée selon deux dimensions complémentaires. La première abordera la (dis)continuité qui existe entre la première profession et la seconde. À cet égard, nous considérerons Poser la question de l'efficacité des dispositifs d'insertion dans les termes choisis par Ingersoll et Strong (2011) conduit à interroger la définition sous-jacente du concept d'insertion. Si les points iii et iv renvoient surtout à l'insertion en tant que problème de politiques locales, le premier (i), tel que Chapitre 3Les trajectoires linéaires/directes vers l'enseignement SESAF : Service de l'enseignement spécialisé et de l'appui à la formation.OPTI : Organisme de perfectionnement scolaire, de transition et d'insertion.
