Effects of Inflammatory Neuropeptides on the Arachidonate Cascade of Platelets

Abstract: Background: During neurogenic inflammation, neuro–peptides (substance P, SP, calcitonin gene–related peptide, CGRP, and neurokinin A) are released from nerve endings, and these peptides initiate inflammatory reactions in the microcirculation.
