Water retention is important in forest ecosystem services. The heterogeneity analysis of water-retention capacity and its influencing factors is of great significance for the construction of water-retention functional areas, restoration of vegetation, and the protection of forest ecosystems in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. A total of 1366 records concerning water-retention capacity in the canopy layer, litter layer, and soil layer of forest ecosystem in this region were obtained from 193 literature published from 1980 to 2017. The influencing factors of water-retention capacity in each layer were analyzed, and path analysis was used to investigate the contribution of the factors to the water-retention capacity of the three layers. The results showed that mixed forests had the highest water-retention capacity, followed by broad-leaved forests, coniferous forests, and shrub forests. In addition, no matter the forest type, the ranking of the water-retention capacity was soil layer, canopy layer, and litter layer from high to low. The main influencing factors of water-retention capacity in forest canopy were leaf area index and maximum daily precipitation (R 2 =0.49), and the influencing coefficients were 0.34 and 0.30, respectively. The main influencing factors of water-retention capacity in the litter layer were semi-decomposed litter (R 2 =0.51), and the influencing coefficient was 0.51. The main influencing factors of water-retention capacity in the soil layer were non-capillary porosity and soil depth (R 2 =0.61), the influencing coefficients were 0.60 and Journal of Geographical Sciences 0.38, respectively. This study verifies the simulation of the water balance model or inversion of remote sensing of the water-retention capacity at the site scale, and provides scientific basis for further study of the impact of global change on water retention.

El sector de la construcción en Colombia es fundamental para proveer la infraestructura necesaria para el progreso de la sociedad. Además, responde favorablemente a los cambios en la dinámica económica mediante la creación de empleo, movimiento de materias primas, estimulación y desarrollo de otros sectores económicos. Estas labores se sostienen por el desempeño empresarial, considerado el pilar fundamental de las economías de mercado. Asimismo, la gestión empresarial se relaciona directamente con la innovación, al aplicar nuevas actividades productivas en el empleo, formulaciones de comercio y servicios. No obstante, el parque empresarial colombiano se compone en su gran mayoría de micro y pequeñas empresas, las cuales exhiben limitantes en su estructura organizacional. Esto limita su desempeño en la participar directa en los complejos proyectos constructivos estatales en el entorno económico cambiante y dependiente de los fenómenos del mercado internacional. Por lo anterior, la presente investigación analizó el entorno económico del subsector edificador, a través de la formulación de una metodología para seleccionar y caracterizar las empresas del subsector de la construcción de edificaciones en Boyacá. Además, se identificaron de capacidades empresariales mediante la estimación de los estados financieros y organizacionales al compararse con una muestra representativa de licitaciones públicas para la construcción de edificaciones. Lo anterior expuso las complejas condiciones en la construcción de vivienda como líder del subsector edificador. Asimismo, el 95,83 % de las empresas en Boyacá no tienen las condiciones para participar en contratación pública debido a las limitantes organizacionales que caracterizan el parque empresarial colombiano. Estos fenómenos junto con los efectos de las crisis económicas recientes han afectado el crecimiento económico de la en la actividad edificadora, pese a los esfuerzos institucionales para incentivar la producción a través de la inversión en la construcción.

Since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in 2013, Chinese enterprises have invested heavily in transport infrastructure projects. In order to better promote Chinese overseas transport infrastructure investment (TII) and avoid additional risks, it is necessary to scientifically assess the performance of Chinese TII in countries along the BRI and explore the promotion path of Chinese TII performance. For this reason, we used a superefficient slacks-based measurement (SE-SBM) model to calculate Chinese TII performance based on 5 dimensions, including political environment, economic environment, institutional environment, humanistic environment, and social environment. These 5 dimensions were divided into 14 indicators, and we used quantification with indirect data to quantify all indicators. Then, according to the performance value of selected countries, we classified them into high-, medium-, and low-performance areas. Next, combined with the scale of returns and the shadow price of input indicators, we provided the promotion measures of each performance area. Our analysis generates valuable measures to reduce TII risks and better promote the connectivity of countries along the BRI.
