Factors forming the health of modern children and adolescents

The purpose of the work was to study the lifestyle factors of students at higher educational institutions in Vladivostok during the period of restrictive measures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Material and research methods. A prospective cohort study was conducted. With the help of the google form, a questionnaire was conducted for students 18-24 years old studying at 1-4 courses of educational organizations in Vladivostok. During statistical processing, descriptive statistics were calculated, Student's t-test, Pearson's, and Spearman's non-parametric rank correlation coefficient were applied. Results. A study of the health of studying universities showed that 67.51 1.86% respondents when working with electronic communications made complaints about a feeling of eye fatigue (63.79 2.32%), headaches (27.34 2.15%), a sense of gravity in the head (26.17 2.12%). Significant direct relationship between level of remote educational component and duration of digital devices usage by trainees (R = 0.16, p = 0.03), working time with gadgets for educational purposes (R = 0.21, p = 0.03), food intake multiplicity (R = 0.18, p = 0.01) is determined. A significant inverse correlation of the total time of use of gadgets and night sleep duration (r = -0.17, p = 0.02) was also revealed. A comparative analysis of the characteristics of the lifestyle of modern youth during the pandemic COVID-19 and before it, revealed that the number of students with dietary disorders has decreased. The number of students with night sleep less than 7 hours increased significantly (41.32 1.96% versus 30.17 4.26%, 2 = 5.1, p = 0,024), and the number of respondents sleeping more than 8 hours (13.88 1.37% versus 20.69 3.76%, has decreased = 4.33, p = 0,038). During training using remote educational technologies, significantly fewer respondents were determined who were in the fresh air only if they needed to be moved to work or study (49.37 1.99% versus 80.17 3.7%, 2 = 37.47, p 0,001). Output. The identified changes in the lifestyle of students during the pandemic period are COVID-19 a risk factor for health impairment, which emphasizes the relevance and need to continue studying this problem.

Аннотация: Настоящее исследование посвящено проблеме психодиагностики экстремистских тенденций личности в образовательной среде. На сегодняшний день проблема экстремизма является международной и приобретает все более острый характер, что обусловлено как легкостью распространения любой информации посредством современных средств коммуникации, так и разнообразием форм данного явления. Это обусловливает важность проблемы выявления индивидуально-психологических особенностей склонной к экстремизму личности для своевременного проведения комплекса мероприятий по психологической коррекции дезадаптивных черт в целях предотвращения возможных противоправных действий. Требует разработки психодиагностический инструментарий, направленный на решение этой задачи. Поэтому цель данной работы состоит в изучении экстремистских тенденций личности в образовательной среде и описании их в контексте социально-психологической дезадаптации. Для экспресс-скрининга экстремистских тенденций среди старшеклассников применялась разработанная нами анкета, включающая следующие критерии: одиночество, признаки депрессивности, дегуманизация окружающих, декларирование превосходства, привлекательность темы насилия, антиобщественные настроения. Эмпирическое исследование проводилось в школах г. Владивосток. Выборку исследования составили 157 старшеклассников, из них у 29 были выявлены экстремистские тенденции. Также использовались личностный опросник Г. Айзенка EPI, 16-факторный личностный опросник Р. Кеттелла (форма С), шкала враждебности Кука-Медлей, методика диагностики иррациональных установок А. Эллиса и проективная методика «12 архетипов плюс» Р. В. Кадырова, Т. В. Капустиной. Для статистической обработки использовался непараметрический U-критерий Манна-Уитни при уровне значимости не более 0,05. Все подсчеты были выполнены с применением программы STATISTICA 10.0. Полученные результаты позволяют говорить о кризисном состоянии и социальной дезадаптации лиц, склонных к экстремизму. В качестве способов выхода из данного состояния они могут избрать радикальные, насильственные действия. Анализ полученных данных позволяет сделать вывод о создании достаточно чувствительного инструмента диагностики экстремистских тенденций в контексте социально-психологической дезадаптации личности. The purpose of this study was a comparative assessment of the indicators of physical development of children 7–18 years old living in the city of Kursk for the periods 2000–2001. and 2019–2020. The research was carried out on the basis of general educational organizations located in different districts of Kursk in the period from 2000-2001. and 2019–2020. The standard anthropometric technique, instrumentation and methods of statistical processing were used. The total number of the surveyed was 20083 schoolchildren. The criteria for inclusion in the sample are children and adolescents of school age who are at the time of the study in an educational organization, the presence of a correctly completed informed consent and a correctly conducted anthropometric study. Statistical processing of the obtained data was carried out using the statistical analysis package Statistica 10.0. The monitoring of the physical development of schoolchildren in the city of Kursk carried out in this study in the dynamics of twenty years of observation revealed a significant increase in the indicators of length and body weight in all age-sex groups of schoolchildren. Against the background of positive medical and social changes in the city of Kursk, manifestations of the acceleration process were recorded, which are harmonious and accompanied by an increase in muscle strength indicators.
