Fibrous Polyps of the Ureter

Abstract: Two cases of fibrous polyps of the ureter are reported. In 1 case there was coexistent transitional cell carcinoma, Certain changes suggesting a benign lesion are described. Fibrous polyps are best treated by local excision.

Especially because it concerns many young patient any preoperative suspicion of benignity requires local exploration and frozen section instead of blind nephroureterectomy.…”
