This study aims to find out the aesthetic values in Balada Cenderawasih, a traditional dance of Papua. Balada Cenderawasih is a traditional Papuan ballad performed in the dance moves. The contents of literary and artistic are fully included in it which can be explored more than just a performance on the stage. One of several ways to explore is by finding out the aesthetic values through a study. This study is descriptive qualitative with the source data obtained from the dance move sequences, informant, and the synopsis. The data were collected by overt observation, structured interview, and documentation, then were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's three steps; reduction, display, and verification. The results of the study show that the aesthetic values are found out based on the 3 aesthetic elements; appearance, substance, and presentation. 1) Appearance; a) Form: the formation of a group of birds symbolizing beauty, binary opposition and leadership, b) Structure: the unity, the dominance, and the balance symbolizing the structure of leadership; 2) Substance; a) Tone; mode change leading to raising emotion, b) Idea; showing chronological journey, c) Message; reminding people of environmental endangerment; 3) Presentation; Three elements of unity, complexity, and intensity presenting the quality of the dance performance which determining the whole elements of aesthetic values.

Many students have difficulty improving basic skills. In addition, the media that can assist teachers in teaching students is also lacking, so students find it challenging to learn calistung. This study aims to develop Smart Book Media in Improving Learning Outcomes of Basic Skills for First Grade Elementary School Students. This type of research is the development of the ADDIE model. The test subjects were 2 media experts and 2 material experts. The trial subjects were 1 practitioner and 28 grade I elementary school students. The method used is the technique of interview and observation. The data collection instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques are qualitative and quantitative analysis and inferential statistics. The results of the research are the assessment results by media content experts, namely 0.93 (high validity), and media experts getting a score of 0.87 (high validity). The validation scores of each respondent are 4.45 (very good) and 4.89 (very good) due to student responses. From the analysis results, it is concluded that the Smart Book media is feasible or valid to be used in the learning process. The results of the t-test are t-count (0.000) < t table (2.052), it can be concluded that there is a difference between the pretest and post-test scores of grade 1 students before and after using SmartBook media. It is concluded that Media Smart Book can improve fundamental skills in grade I elementary school students.

In 21st century learning, the development of smartphone-based applications to support education, especially literacy, has become a basic need. This study aims to analyze the factors that factor in user acceptance of an Android-based application called Kumandang, Reading Aloud Activities. This type of research is survey research. The subjects of this study were ninety participants consisting of teachers, parents, and guardians. The research instrument used in this study was a questionnaire sheet. The technique of data collection is the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a structural equation model with the help of the SMARTPLS application. The study model uses UTAUT2, which consists of several indicators, including; Performance Expectations (PE), Business Expectations (EE), Social Influence (SI), Facilitation Conditions (FC), Price Value (PV), Hedonic Motivation (HM), and Habits of Behavioral Intentions (H). The results showed that business expectations (EE) related to the ease and convenience of using Kumandang positively affected user acceptance. In addition, hedonic motivation (HM) related to fun and entertainment also affects parents' intention to use the Kumandang application. The results also show that performance expectations (PE), social influences (SI), facilitating conditions (FC), habits (H), and price effects (PV) do not affect parents' acceptance of using the Kumandang application.
