The Human-Centric SMED (H-SMED) is an evolution of the classical methodology introduced by Shingo to manage the setup process, which is particularly suitable for companies where the setup involves activities with high human content, that can be hardly transformed into external operations to be performed during the machine uptime. The H-SMED integrates Industry 4.0 tools, as the MES Data Analysis, Lean Management and Ergonomics with a new attention to the centrality of workers, in order to guide the transition towards the next Industry 5.0. The H-SMED methodology is developed into four phases, devolved to: (1) understanding the changeover process; (2) identifying potential improvements; (3) moving from proposal to practice; (4) training and control, in a continuous improvement cycle. The case study of a world-wide known company in the fashion eyewear industry is proposed to validate the framework, reporting a 44% reduction of setup duration.

This research aims to analyze the industrial revolution 4.0 and 5.0 and its relevance to education in Indonesia. Research methods using literature studies that review or critically review the knowledge, ideas, or findings contained in journals, books, and other scientific works The results of research show that the presence of the industrial revolution 4.0 and 5.0 contributed significantly to Indonesian education. One of them is the existence of technology-based learning innovations that make it easier for students to learn without knowing space, time, and place. Industry 4.0 is technology-driven, society 5.0, however, is value-driven. The former requires the latter to remind society's essential needs, values, and responsibilities as the primary target; The latter requires the former for a technological push and solution. Therefore, the development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and 5.0 is expected to bring progress to the development of education, especially in Indonesia, by creating change and preparing superior and innovative graduates with skills that have been prepared in advance.

The increasing skill mismatch in manufacturing workforce is raising demand for training opportunities to cope with advanced manufacturing systems. To maintain production and adjust quickly to technological transformation, innovative work-based learning approaches are emphasized. Intelligent machines are becoming capable of interaction and collaboration with humans. They not only introduce a new type of learnable workforce to manufacturing but may open opportunities to enhance learning of all learners. Symbiotic relationships of humans and machines have wide potential for human-centric manufacturing (aka Industry 5.0). Moreover, connecting smart devices and deploying self-learning solutions is envisioned to increase flexibility of manufacturing, thus changing work division between humans and machines. Where humans and machines collaborate, the term Reciprocal Learning has been coined to describe the process of bidirectional learning. While a definition of Reciprocal Learning exists the boundary conditions of the concept are still ambiguous. In this paper, a framework for Reciprocal Learning in Human-Machine Collaboration for Industry 5.0 is presented to clarify what it is and what it isn’t. The approach is based on a multi-agent system perspective, comprising human and machine agents. Finally, an outlook on future research is presented.
